i Dont understand why people are ranting so much about 5Ghz missing , i do realize it has better speeds(in latency and range, not internet speed) but hey if your are from india im sure you must be getting around 15 mbps or less which is good enough for gaming. i game on my iphone 7 pubg and i found close to no difference whether im connected to 5ghz or 2.4ghz. and why even compare this with OUT OF STOCK phone REdmi note 5 pro. Flash sales are terrible i would rather buy from company that has capacity to atleast supply to its customer. Kudos to Asus from bringing it to even lower price than redmi note 5 pro, and near stock android is any day better than MIUI.

The most powerful midrange phone in the 1st Quarter of 2018. If Asus doesn't miss the NFC this phone will be much better and distintive.

Can they have a Lite version to build around a 5.7" screen to reduce its length to 150mm or less and thickness less than 8mm.

At least on paper, it is definitely a midrange champ! Then we'll have to see/confirm it in real life and compared to the others. But again, so far it is definitely an absolute great value for money killer midranger ! Well done to Asus!

Is ... moreYes,The ZMPM1 comes only with WLAN 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz .I've checked the official asus website and AndroidCentral has also confirmed the same.
I was going to buy the 6gb variant of this phone but now I'll have to settle for some other smartphone.

From the Specification Point of view it is a value of Money but It doesn't support Stable video Recording & Doesn't have Gorrila glass..So disappointed to buy

Android P & Q on the cards!!! If they would have provided USB type C then it would have been a dream phone for me however whatever they are offering as of now they and they have locked horns with Xiaomi India !!!!! This specs have killed Redmi Note 5 pro on papers however wana see its real world performance !!!!!

So when u go to place when they have 5 ghz access point, ur device can't connect to their wifi
