At least on paper, it is definitely a midrange champ! Then we'll have to see/confirm it in real life and compared to the others. But again, so far it is definitely an absolute great value for money killer midranger ! Well done to Asus!

iamS, 24 Apr 2018Only drawback is this phone has MicroUSB not USB-C. And ano... moreIt has project treble support and as per launch event they promised 2 major android updates. Android P & Q on the cards!!! If they would have provided USB type C then it would have been a dream phone for me however whatever they are offering as of now they and they have locked horns with Xiaomi India !!!!! This specs have killed Redmi Note 5 pro on papers however wana see its real world performance !!!!!

gauravnartam, 24 Apr 2018The ZMPM1 comes only with WLAN 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz and not ... moreIt means ZMPM1 can't receive 5 ghz wifi transmission. 5 ghz transmission has higher speed than 2,4 ghz. a / ac support 5 ghz, then b g n only 2,4 ghz transmission. So when u go to place when they have 5 ghz access point, ur device can't connect to their wifi

Only drawback is this phone has MicroUSB not USB-C. And another thing which would be good to know is whether it support Project Treble for long term OS updates or not.

I now settle for midrange devices coz I get to save lots of money than before when I was so fond of high end devices. The last high end phone I owned was LG V20. Been buying high end smartphones since Blackberry debuted. Even when there was still no smartphones, I used to own Cybershot, Walkman and NSeries phones which were all pricey. In 2017 I switched from V20 to A7 2017 and I had no regrets then I changed the A7 phone to Mi Max 2. Now I have Redmi 5 Plus and I should say I am so satisfied. I will change my present phone to this Zenfone Max Pro M1. :)
