Why are the Asus Zenfone Max Pro m2 Android 10 still available? The Redmi 8 mobile that came before it also needs a year to make a software update to the Android 10. Asus Zenfone Max Pro m2 Android 10

I've been using this phone since early 2019 and it was is really bad experience. The software is shit and the optimization suck. That's all i can say, I've used their past phone and it was great until now

Had this phone since last winter so still fairly new (imported via France through Amazon as our country doesn't sell it) great alternative to all the expensive Samsung and Apple phones that unfortunately seem to be pretty much only option I can get locally and would cost twice the price I paid for this one.
Dropped it in a lake a month ago and for something without water rating I expected it to fry or stop working, still no sign of any damage and it works as before.
Got it mainly for the battery as I travel a lot and always go for cheaper phones as they cost a fortune these days so was trying to strike a balance between price and spec. Really impressive battery life and can give me full day of watching videos, social media and online browsing on a heavy use day or even at times 2 days when I don't use it as much which was great lifesaver when you forget your charger and are away.
So far I've no issues with this phone,but I do hope it keeps on going for few more years and they roll out Android 10 update for it as it would really complete this phone for me.

I trusted Asus but they are just full of shit like other brands. It's better to buy a mid range phone from Nokia or Samsung. Asus has terrible stock UI, it can never utilize the potential of SD 660 and it has overheating issue. It will not get updates. Even when it gets an update it is full of bugs which can damage the eMMC, in the latest update the eMMC is partition locked or something, my phone is dead and many other phone died. Asus insn't admitting any of these. Never buy asus. Thanks.

Using it since 2018 Dec without any major issues apart from the system UI crash which I have started facing since Mid June 2020. Almost about to clock 2 years of usage on this phone. Battery life has been better always and have negligible heating issues. Performance feels slow as its a 660 processor only.

I have ASUS ZENFONE 1, i bought it from Dubai and its still working, its been almost 6 years or more now. I am looking forward to the new model.

Worst mobile and there is no guarantee for services don't buy this mobile it will get crash mother board with in a 14months for updates also company is not responding, cheating people for worst quality

After updating to android 9 ,the battery is drain so fast 2 percent just for 1 minute while im not opening any app ,i just wanna downgrade it

Asus has very bad image in terms of mobile phones software. It is very bad that its software update is always full of bugs,never gave stable update,still it is not able to deliver stable android 10.samsung is good in terms of software update.
