I bought the 4GB RAM/64GB Internal Storage version with no NFC, so far very pleased with the phone. It's basically everything I ever wanted in a phone (bar the NFC, but NFC isn't a big thing in my country yet, so it's not like I'd have many chances of using it) at just 200 US dollars.

Except for one complain: touch sensitivity. My previous phone uses an IGZO screen, and despite its many flaws, typing on it is a blissful experience. Despite its sensitivity, the input is precise, ignoring the slight touch from the edge of my palm.

The same cannot be said for Zenfone Max Pro M2. I have a hard time typing with its screen. It sometimes ignores my touch, and sometimes took the slight press of my palm as input. Oftentimes, I find myself forced to touch it multiple times before it registers it. I'm typing this opinion out on my M2, and let me tell ya, it's super frustrating. I think this has to do with its touch recognition software, and I hope Asus will address this issue and fix it in a future patch.

Anonymous, 15 Jan 2019You're wrong my friend. The gorilla glass seems not upto st... moreI personally always keep my device covered with tempered glass so I'm less known with the theory of scratching screens, but I've watched videos on the reputed YouTube channel 'jerryrigeverything' and found that gorilla glass 3,4 scratch at level 6 on mohs scale of hardness, gorilla glass 5 had some problems but only few phones had that... Some YouTubers tested the max pro m2 the same way as jerry and they found that the gorilla glass 6 had zero problems...

Go buy another phone that come with crappy and laggy skin UI. Those extra features on skin UI we can get it from Google Play. Stock Android is not for every one but for who like simplified, minimalistick and know how to tweak their phone.

Josett427, 14 Jan 2019Underclocked snapdragon 660 Still a 660. Not the best 660 but a very minor difference in my opinion. We are at a point where processors are fast enough that even mid range segment is enough. It could do every task thrown to them and every android game you put in them. The difference is just split seconds or a second at best.
Unless you maximize the performance the processor of a processor or a feature in a flagship. Which i suppose 90% of the users doesnt.
