Can't change the network mode by dialling *#*#4636*#*# anymore, i think it's happening after the update because i remember switching to lte only when i brought the phone, this is important to me and now i have to deal with it

My theory is that it is the oleophobic coating getting scratched and not the actual phone. The pre applied screen protectors on the oneplus devices cause the removal of the coating which reveals the real glass which does not get scratched. Don't know but its just a theory.

I dropped my asus max pro m2 twice and both time it dropped with the screen facing downwards, first i shattered the upper right corner tempered glass and second time shattered the upper left corner and the main glass is not broken, what i want to say is not how strong gorillaglass6 is but that i was not thanking the gorilla glass after i found my main screen was not broken but i was thanking my tempered glass, i mean i am thankful for gorilla glass 6 but right at that serious moment when you drop your phone you will thankful for the temperedglass, gorilla glass 6 comes later

Does the screen get easily screatched while day to day usage? And what about the back panel? I really dont like to use extra protections

the phone is great but after the latest update the phone is good as thrash... the camera flash is turn into flash light when its in auto mode. it keeps on lighting not flashing.. the status bar at the right side shrinks just like the owner of asus..

These apps will drain mire energy and presents a lot of bugs and have a bad impact on the performance nothing can replace a goid ui

Even if skins have some more bugs or harder to adapt on using them if you change your phones I still love them for the extra features optimization and rich experience

When i use 2 apps in split window mode for example YouTube and chrome, both apps comes in 50-50 ratio and there's no feature to resize one apps bigger than another for example i want YouTube to use 20% of the screen , what i want is how chrome increases its size and YouTube minimise a lot more when i try to type something in the browser and YouTube becomes way smaller, but that's it, its kind of auto, i want that to be manual

Nothing beats default apps optimized well to work with a system and to give the best user experience. Its hard to find a well optimized 3rd party app that works really well and has all the features you want without having to pay or without a single ads. With this, i need to work harder to find that sweet app that i would prefer as my daily driver.
Ive come to like the M2 for what it is. Google photos comes with unlimited cloud storage. It misses to detect photos stored in other folder sometimes but can be forgiven. Stock cam app sucks nut mods are everywhere. i switched to textra as my Default messaging app. Used swype as my keyboard. Etc. Well.
It was the price i have to pay so i could have the best phone experience.

Secondly, third party apps, mostly have ads in them which are annoying, atleast that's my perspective...

Now, ive loved the simplicity and the vanilla interface and i never regret grabbing one of these. Because of this experience i would love to grab any stock android unit without hesitation given the hardware is well suited. I love Asus' decision to make a stock android phone.
Also, i dont bother having no apps installed and this is what everyone does in a smartphone they bouggt initially: to Set up and Install apps according to their needs and preference. Its just laziness to reason out "i have to download this and that"

Regardless of the durability, i always had a tempered glass slapped on to my screen as it makes me really confident. Depending on the quality of the tempered glass, the screen quality does not change, its got oleophobic coating, its durable, scratch resistant, and an added layer of protection in case of falls.
The thing about durable glasses is its fragile against a concentrated impact and causes it to shatter. Lets say it smashed on a nail or a sharp stone where the impact is concentrated the point of contact.
So regardless of the durability. It has saved me a dozen of phones by having a 5 bucks screen protector to protect my 250 dollar investment.

At 175 gr,while equipped with 5000 mah battery,i think this phone is very lighweight !
