great effort on the retro styling and specs? Not really a threat to any other manufacturer for the business/pda market.. Why not wifi?

I had the quikfire for 1 day and returned it this phone is butt ugly and everyone that saw it said it looked like phone we had 10 years ago.. I have to agree the design lacks alot of style and has this boring silver casing that cell phones havent had in years probably because it scratches and chips off really easy and the first time you drop your phone looks nasty
This is probably gonna be best for the teenage market only becuase it looks cheap and even the operating system is cheesy looking like a cheaper hand held video game yes it has a touch screen but definitly a low end one. Its also super ugly from the backside looks alot like the pocket pc that utstarcom made 10 years ago. Also the battery I can see being a problem if you talk on it alot.. stand-by yes it will last a few days but if you talk alot it doesnt last very long
I know for a fact it wouldnt last 12day standby as the specs for it say
But for $99 cant expect it to be the latest and greatest if you are older than 16 Id invest in the matrix which I exchanged the quikfire for and really like or wait till the lg xenon comes out next month

What a piece of crap! I can't believe Att isn't even trying to get better phones. Camera sucks & no wifi.

I bought this phone for my daughter yesterday, its pretty damned good and yes its a Sidekick killer. It it quadband gsm, triband hsdpa which is pretty decent for an inexpensive phone. I guess as others mentioned, it could have used a better camera. But not a big issue for us. The touchscreen is quite good. Menu's are fast, but slightly confusing, but its new so that will resolve. Great texter and that's what teenage girls do. Also not bad, you can use google maps on its gps.

Phone is alright. The camera isn't as great as it really should be. The design of it is very nice and very smooth. the front is touch screen so that is a plus. it takes awhile to get used to messing around with. but its worth it. i do wish it was a Windows OS instead of some weird one.
