I Have used an O2 mini, i switched to BenQ P50 for the Keyboard I can use at day or night the backlithing and the lcd of the P50 is much sharper than the O2. The Learning remote is a Good addition to the unit, I get to control evrything remote at home and work.

Anyone used or checked out both the P50 and the i-mate k-jam? I'm interested in hearing how they compare before I buy one.

At long last a Phone oriented Pocket PC. For those who have waited for this unit its worth the wait. There is really nothing much I can ask for. Now I can do a one handed QUERTY keyboard input.

Any suugestion of this 3 models? SE 990, O2 Atom & BenQ P50? Planning to get either one of this. Kind of difficult to make up my mind for a better pc phone. Comments please? Tks in advance.

Hi guys,this phone pdaphone is great..its my first & no regrets after comparing to all others..it is stable as i dun have any problems with the overall function,speed, although battery drainage is unavoidable.
Camera wise is not bad cause you cant compared to mobile phones. I love every bit of this pdaphone when realised the 'other' 'upmarket' brand making its customer to cry baby.

I agree. After a period of "getting to know you", this is actually a good device. The photo quality from the camera leaves somethign to be desired, though.

I Had the Phone for over a month now, and I would say Battery power is comparable with the the XDA II phone. which I had for 2 years before getting this nicely styled phone. Its no Bigger than a Nokia 6680.

I have tried All buitin Querty keypad Phones. but i think the P50 is the best better than the ones trio have on its 650. Its has that phone keypad feel to click and makes it easy for you to use. You can use the Querty Keypad single handed. Try it with the SE P910i or the XDA IIs moselikely you'll drop the Phone. The style and ergonimnics of the phone is very good. Its an executive style.
Its the Best PDA Phone on tha market today

Is it possible to receive faxes on the BenQ P50? Is it compatable with Blackberry, as in, can it receive emails? Also, what abt compatability with Lotus Notes?
Also, can one download yahoo messenger on the phone?

Nne of the keys would work nor would any screen taps work. the phone wouldnt power down also... Take out the battery for 15 mins, better for half an hour then put it back in, power on. It might save you a trip to the service shop.

Hi All,, This is a nice toy ! ,,,, Skype + MSN ,, PDF , I cant see how some dont like this phone , Think its better to play with it and learn on all functions before make stronge comments ... :) ,, One happy ,,

I've not bought p50 yet, but I'm going to buy it as soon as possible. Before buying, some people talk about the battery life of P50 a lot that is too short. However it has a normal working time in the operation instruction. How much time does it take with just bluetooth & phone on? A day? and can it play mp3 with bluetooh headset?

I have recently purchased Co-Pilot6 Live and the product is NOT compataible with this device-BenQ P50.
Co-Pilot have refused refund and Expasys, Manchester where the BenQ was Purchased also declines refund.
Any suggestions?

-you may also use the calculator without the stylus
-standby time? set brightness to low and turn-off the screensaver (clock)

i just bought my benqP50.my only problem is that the standby time is not long like what is being written on its specification. does anyone have solved this problem? everything else on the phone is very good.

messaging/sms - once you open an sms:
press tab/shift/tab to reply,delete,move,forward or mark unread
new message -
To:_____ press the first two letter of the recipient and the names in a box will upper.toggle up/down to choose the name.
to proceed to Subject = press tab
to type your sms = press tab again
to send,save in drafts,cancel message = press tab/shift/tab

Please help me !!!.
The recording buttn was accidently pressed on the phone and didnt come to know about it or how long it was on until the phone rang. I picked up the phone and low storage memory warning was on the screen and the phone was ringing in the background .
Nne of the keys would work nor would any screen taps work. the phone wouldnt power down also .
I unlocked the battery still the phone was kinda stuck on this one screen .
I released the battery and the screen turned white for a moment and then went of with a few veritcal bars on the screen which came on everytime i put the battery back in. Now the phone does not power on at all .
The battery charging light comes on when plugging the phone into a line but other than that .no go.
Dont know what to do.
