Start > Setting > Connection > Connection setting > then select ur Region, Operator and service put GPRS.. then OK.. if still can not, then u must ask your operator for the parameter then setup manualy..

Presently I am facing following issues with my Benq P50, can any one advise a solution:

                  1. The speaker phone does not work ie when during a call I hold the call button for a while then the message comes on the screen "speeker is now on" however I do not hear any sound from the other side.

                  2. I had configured GPRS connetion manually however y mistake I went ito the "connection settings" and had to chose telcel as an ISP to come out of the screen. Now while connecting to GPRS it is always cnnecting to telcel. I am not able to delete/ change the settings. Please advise.

                  3. i do not know how to give patth for direct video recording or photograph saving on SD card. Please help

                  4. I have a lot of sms's saved on my SIM card. I want to archive them into my computer for later reference and use. I have copied them on my text message inbox however are not copied further anywhere....neither do they get stored to computer on syncing..please advise...

If you are restarting ur phone at low signal area... u might not get the signal from GSM... After u reach a high signal area... Goto network settings to detect it again lor... Ur sd card is wat speed...? If low pls use the highest speed for it to write to the card without lagging... Hope all this can help u bro... Hav a nice day... Cheers...

Do you guys experience where there is no gsm signal after restarting the phone? and when i try to switch on the signal, there is a message saying that there is no wireless antenna attached. Everytime i will need to restart again.

Another thing is that i set my video to be stored to SD card by default but it is very slow and lagging while taking video

I have used several PDA/Phones (Imate PDA, PDA2k and Nokia 9300) before and find them indispensable for the convenience such convergence devices provide. Each device had its own limitations if not outright bugs. I find the Benq P50 very reliable and ready to work as advertised straight out of the box, something I cannot say about the other devices I have used. I like its solid design and find it good looking too. The performance is very reliable and robust. I have loaded several 3rd party programs meant for WM2003SE and they all work perfectly on the P50. I wish the memory would have been larger but have had not run out of space yet, but could pose problems while taking high res pictures with the camera. Battery lasts for a day which is good enough for me but with all PDAs one has to be observant of the battery and keep it charged overnight or off PC when at work, to be safe and use the provided Sprite backup software to maintain full backups. I have upgraded to FW1.12 and feel that the performance has become more stable and boosted the battery life too. While the camera boasts 1.3MP, built in flash and up to 960x1280 resolution, pictures taken indoors are quite poor. The p50 does not have the WM5 OS but WM2003SE is fine enough and most of the current 3rd party utilities/software/enchancements are available for this platform. The Benq P50 does have a good feature set, has a good build quality and is very reliable; these desirable qualities in addition to its comparatively cheaper price should recommend itself to those in the market to buy a PDA/Phone.

I think BenQ P50 has the highest capacity battery of 1240mAh compare to other PPC phone... I think is the software making it drain so fast... Sometime when i turn on the wifi... it drain fast to 30%... then i stop using it... after a while... it become normal back to 59%... stupid programming... hehe... anyway i still charge it everyday... n backup everyday...

"I wonder if p50 can use any other(bigger, better) battery ?"

you just have to charge it right and condition it on the first time and it'll work like a charm
