I bought E61 last mont, till now, i can set MP3 music as my call ring and also while playing MP3, i can open lyric although i had already put lyric in. Please help me??

A month ago, i bought this phone, i get problem, in call ring, i cant set MP3 as my call ring, and also to open song lyric inputted?, please help me to solve those problems?. Thank.

I bought this phone at the end of december 06 having bought it on Virgin Pay As You Go as a replacement for a basic LG Colour phone which was poor in itself.
The E61 seemed bright, loud, and good value for money.
Then i came to the SMS / MMS and as I use T9 predictive text all the time and not the ancient tap tap input (i have done this since 2002) and yes the phone had a facility to add a word to a T9 dictionary and it saved it.
I then turned off the phone to charge it and when it was charged i checked the phone out after turning it back on and found the newley entered words had gone from the phone for good.
This also applied when you used the NOTES option on the phone.
Any words that were added while entering a note that were not in the dictionary dissapeared when you turned off the phone then on and you had spaces where the words should have been.
This is a major booboo for a company which has been using the Siemens name alongside its own.
The phone is not fit for the purpose intended.
i have now had two of these phones (im awaiting a further reply from Virgin Mobile UK and see if there going to do something).
They claimed that the phones they had in stock added, saved and kept in the dicitonary.
By the example of the replacement they appear to be telling porkie pies.
If i get no suitable answer i will go straight to trading standards locally and ask them to take the case up (hopefully this will not be necessary).
Benq Siemens is capput Benq is still running but no firmware updates (only updates i have seen is for Benq branded only not the dual branded Benq Siemens).
Anyway if your thinking for buying one of these and you T9 then forget it a waste of money.
If you tap tap then maybe it will suit you.
Another muck up with the phone to note is that I sent mp3 files in via drag and drop on pc and mac computers and both came out with extra mirror like files with dot extensions which not only use up valuable storage but also in some cases the phone freezes as it thinks the file is faulty when using the media player.
Finally the game Kevin freezes randomly and crashes randomly.
It could be a problem of Virgin Branding Software but i doubt it.
STEER CLEAR OF THIS PILE OF OLD RUBBISH.

I have used this phone for probably about 8 months and until now it still works excellently. By the way, does someone use 1GB Mini SD Card on this phone. I am interested in buying it. But I am afraid that my phone would work slower if using 1GB Memory Card. Please inform.

I got it a few days ago and I can say it´s a really good mobile.Good price for it offers and Mp3 works well, such as the other functions on it. If you´re looking for a new phone you must buy it.

this phone is rubbish. my headphone dont even work proply only used them for a week.the camera is crap.just wanted to no if i can buy the headphones? cant find it anywhere checked on ebay they didnt have it.

personally, i hate this phone! i cant believe i ever wanted it! and also my usb doesnt work properly! it wont connect my phone to the computer! and i have no idea whats wrong with it!

The sound from the headphones is too low. If you like loud rock'n'roll then this is not for you. On the other hand, the external speaker is very loud. Should have been the other way around I think. The camera is not very good. This is a basic phone nothing more.

I think it's a crappy phone because it dont have video recorder or voice memo and the camera is verry low quality... And on the internet the said that it had bleutooth! for sofar I think its a crappy phone and I hate it that i asked it for my birthday!

benq siemens is a low cost good mp3 player nothing more than that. in this set i could not able to download application software or games from pc which is very important. i'm missing opera mini and mig33 in this phone. if there is another techniques to make these run in this set. pls mail to me.
