I have just bought the S88. I have SE K750i for an year and half. About the camera I can say that the S88 even passes the K750i, the pictures taken are at highest possible level for 2MP phone. The sound is very good and its loundness is better that K750. But there will always be but: the speed of the phone is not at the level of a mid range bussines phone, the bluetooth connection is very slow, but the most of all are the software BUGS and there are a lot.
1. It does not support pictures taken 1600x1200 from SE k750 and that annoys.
2.One playlist in the MP3 player , etc.
3.The biggest minus for BENQ is no support for its buyers. Please go on SE site and see the software patches and upgrades. In a year and a half I have upgraded twice my SE k750.
It'a a waste for a such quality of phone like the S88 which in my opinion has better camera than SE k750i to have such stupid problems.
These firmware updates should be available by Benq.
In the end.
How Benq expects of me to buy his phones when the company even does not even tries to give support.

No bt it warns you pass to the second message, and it´possible to send until 9sms, 1/9sms...

I want buy it, but there's something curious for me: Is S88 doesn’t show how many characters you’ve entered or remains while creating new SMS ?

Excelent phone in spite form what i´ve heard, i think people are so demanding with their phones....For 120€ i bought one unlocked phone, with a excelent 2MP autofocus camera better than many on the market like the Nokia 6280, MP3 player, expandable memory with micro SD, good quality display, excelent batery...The phone is not slow, at least mine with the fw:1.25
What could possibily want more for this price?? I forgot to mention the beautiful design very buisness looks, much better than it looks on the photos...Very unique phone i must say....

-Expandable memory with micro SD up to 2GB
-Excelent camera realization and quality photos
-Great batery autonomy

-Some large photos are only opened in the PC
-Some anoying sounds impossible to turn off

Nothing is perfect if you want quality for the price go for the S88, instead of beeing so critical about it...

Where can i download the 1.32 version???
Theres another prbolm when i acept large photos, like a 1mega pixel or a 2 mega pixel photo resolution the phone simply doesn´t open it! It says unsuported file....
How can i fiz this?? Great phone, exclusive design, but he resolution of the display could be better, i´m not that excited about the display , at least it could be a good deal to improove the batery perfomance i hope...

I think that S88 is better than moto L7 and most of LG phones because of the features and most because of the battery life.

its a good mobile phone, when the 1st time i used mobile phone, i trusted the siemens for my mobile phone.
but i want to asking for anybody.about s88...
why every time i turn on the phone after benq siemens logo always ask for registration benq family, but every time i sent the registration always field....

it is a rather good phone......... but a little slow..like some ppl says......the slowness doesnt MATTER.........................overall it RRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

test the functions of the s88, including LCD test
*#300#, then tial:
check ur firmware version and other stuffs

Camera is the best 2 mp @ the market
slowness is not a problem, for a 100. time it depends on the software you got............

To KD:
The "unsupported" msg doesn't mean u can't view pics from that SE cell, it simply means that s88 doesn't display pics too big for it.
The max size from the s88 camera would b 1200X1600, so below that resolution would be perfectly displayed (tho i still dont understand y the yset this limit). So if u want to use this pic as a wallpaper, u can adjust the resolution- that would be the easiest way to do.
To me this phone is not that multitasking. It's more like an extension unit of my laptop, serving good quality in music playing, camera quality, and astonishing OLED display (well, other things could be crap, like JAVA, but it doesnt matter to me).

is the camera of this fone good? the feedbacks regarding the speed of the fone is quite disturbing but is it really true because I am about to buy this fone. Please help me by giving me your honest feedbacks.
