hi guys, i will buy this phone soon, but please can u tell me how to know if it was used , please tell me if there is a code or sth (like the nokia code*#92702689#) also want to ask can i use 2 GB micro SD.

It is still not possible to send a person with his contacts from the phonebook of my S88 to somebody by SMS. The only optin is Vcard, but evryone receives empty SMS from me.
SW is 1.18.
I decided very quicky to change my Siemens S65 with the "next S" but it's not true. The sotware problems of S65 are only fraction of the S88.

the socket on the side is for the headphones and the usb cable...
and yes you can take pictures and capture video in full screen mode and you can view them in afull screen mode. but there are black spaces on the sides when viewing the videos.

Could someone tell me please..
Can I take pics or videos with this camera in the full secreen mode>> and what about watching videos ?? can I see it in the full screen or there is a banners black spaces...etc
and also what about the strange socket on its side(think it was red) I just saw it on the picture?

waht comes in the package is standard, but the capacity of the microsd depends on your country...but it comes with the phone, manual, usb cable, headphones, and a micro sd
the lareest for microsd is 1 GB

well doit...to be completely honest with you, i find the S88 to be a very good mobile phone ingeneral...
Advantages:
1-Very good camera (the best 2 mpx camera out there) especially ion the OLED screen
2- the OLED screen shows vibrant colors, its just beautiful and you can see a big big difference between the S88 screen and ANY other screen
3- the speakers are loud and clear. louder than the K750
disadvantages:
1- the software is a little slow
2- it is very simple, basic functions no advanced controls (you will notice a difference between it and othe original siemens devices)
3- no themes applicable , only 3 preinstalled themes and no mp3 sms ringtones only 12 preinstalled ringtones can be used.
but overall the software is very stable(i use 1.25) never hanged on me, never turns off...
in a nutshell, as you can see the S88 is superioir in its hardware but weak in its software. so it all comes down to what you prefer...hardware or software
do i advise the S88???? definitely!!

it seems to me tht you have been using the S88 from a while, could you please tell me the main advanteges and disadvanteges, also is it reliable as the nokia and SE. Also could you please tell me about the firmware.

the S88 camera is defenitly better than the SE and Nokia cameras. i tried a nokia mocrosd card on the S88 and it didn't work, the phone did not recognize it. and the messages are stored on a seperate memory about 7.9 mb. i once had 500 sms in the inbox and there was still more space left!!!!!!!!!

HI, listen, bout ur first question, no idea. Nevertheless, ALL microSD and TransFlash cards R D SAME THING! Any of them shoud work. Once the phone asks for a microSD or TransFlash, d cell will accept any of the 2. Bout d 3rd ques, 2 megapixels is 2MP no matter whether it's Nokia, BS, SE, Moto, etc. It's a matter of resolution. So pics of any 2MP camera will have d same size (area). Nevertheless, different phones have different lens, different photo processors, and these factors, along with others, will cause d picture quality (Clarity, etc.) 2 change from phone 2 phone.

1- does it has separate memory for the msgs or they stored in the memory card..if separate what is da capicity how many msgs can be stored in da memory
2-the micro sd memory card, is it the same like the nokia's one.
3-Does the camera give the same picture as the nokia 2mp camera

hey guys i got a problem : When i put the usb cabel in the phone and try to download some mp3's i couldn't find the micro sd anywhere on the qsyncher(media or file manager), but in the phone memory is 244 mb, and i can cut songs from melodie folder and put them in there...i did formated the card when i get it, and then begun to store mp3's and stuff there, but the pc didn't want to to recognize it, it just cannot find it.. plz any help

It all depends on what u want from a phone. OK, they say the firmware of K750 is much more stable than S88. K750 has radio n infrared, which r crucial feature 4 some ppl. Nevertheless, in my opinion these don't matter that much. With bluetooth is enough.
I think that in terms of camerawise, both r bout d same (Excellent indeed!). in terms of sound, d S88 seems 2 have a tremendous loudspeaker, that is both loud n clear, better than k750.
Ne how, just try 2 b more specific m so we'll b able answer better...
