3.2mp with no flash? That does not add up. If a phone has 3mp, it needs a flash, no buts about it. Maybe the design came first but 3mp is a decent amount of pixels. With no flash, forget it. BenQ Siemens, please think it through properly next time. The phone could have been a clear winner but it simple doesnt flash, a camera needs a flash for goodness sake.

The led flashlight really sucks...
external flashlights allow great photos, especially if you get an Xenon Flash...
This phone is the closest to be the perfect... I can't wait to have one...
OS is the only thing that i will really miss... when this phone become avaliable, we'll see if works great or not... I trust in BenQ-Siemens, because I have a S88 and i'm very pleased with it.

The comments about this phone missing the builtin flashlite... Perhaps BQS thought that this phone deserves a proper external flash, not the cheap LED lamp like other manufacturers are offering. I am using the external flash IFL-600 with my S65 and I am really pleased with it. It is a proper flash with auto-exposure, redeyes correction, etc... The built-in LED flashlites are good as a replacment for a pocket torch-lamp for finding your keys in the dark... but they have no real use when it comes to a photography! With autofocus 3.2MPix camera we can finally talk about photography...
Nice job BQS! And the expected start price of 400-450 euros is not high for this piece of equipment. We will only have to wait till november.....

There are some innovations; hidden 2nd camera, thin sliding screen, best in size and performance ratio... RDS radio is also first introduced by Siemens SXG75. BenQ Siemens is in the right track

i don't think the design its a copy of LG chocolate. the SL91 design looks a bit like Siemens SL75.

what a design!
Siemens proves themselves that only they can make proper sliders phones!
(Siemens SL10 is known as world's first sliders )
too bad, it didn't have OS, irda, and built-in flashlight.
