It is the PIN number that is held hostage by Cingular. I was wondering, since the phone was new and never used, I need some way to establish an email account set up with my server. do you want to email me directly, and we can chat that way. I will look up the APN, but we have tried many thing here with my cell provdier. The PIN has a password, but I do not know the User name.

    @Vladone

    you can set the manual APN (access point name) of your provider. for the browser, you must first use a blackberry enabled sim card so that the service book would be sent to the device.

    hope this helps.

                  The Blackberry 8700 only supports bluetooth for voice, i.e. using it with a headset. Data transfer is not possible hence the refusal to recieve a file from your friend

                                you can download 3rd parties applications that allow you MSN on BB; as well, you can go into options, advanced options, applications, and delete those you don't need anymore;

                                  With the blackberry it is push email whereas with the other wireless units with email you have to actually go in and check it yourself
