I have been using this handset for 14 days and it has started hanging. the processor really sucks. Blackberry should recall for this model. Have used lower models but were better than 9720.

had mine and my husbands for six months. very happy with this. no problems at all. will advice any person to buy. not the same as the old blackberry. thank you job well done

This phone really sucks,it automatically reboots itself.Its really affordable and mara its a bloody waste of money.I regret taking it on contract really

Its the worst phone i every used in my span of 13 years. Automatically get switched off then take a reboot to get it started. the company should recall this instrument on urgent bases. I got this instrument from dubai,

Worst piece of crap, initially was so good but then it started freezing regularly and it starts calling other numbers. while you on a call it puts your call on hold. Now four months later the charging port is damaged. I have never had this problem with any other BB. I take it to Customer care and get told that the port is not under warranty. It will cost R1710 to repair. How convenient. Cant wait to change over to Samsung - only heard great reviews. What a waste of my contract. Blackberry should recall these fones cos I was told at Customer Care that this is a common issue. Too upset. Save yourself some heartache DONT get this model.

This is BB's worst phone ever. I downgraded from using the 9810 as I was not very confident of the 10 OS functioning and decided to wait for the OS to stabilize. In the interim, I bought the 9720 as it has both touch & a physical keyboard and ran the 7.1 OS; same as the 9800 series.
Issues faced with this model:
1. When on a call, if I need to look up a number or other info on the phone, the screen remains dark and refuses to light up whatever one does. I had the phone replaced, but the problem still persists.
2. When on a call and I add another participant, I am not able to hear anything and need to disconnect the call and try gain. Incidentally, the called parties report being kept on hold. This happen very frequently.
3. When browsing and I open 2 or more pages, the browser hangs or shuts down automatically
4. The phone also tends to hand periodically with no apparent reason
I never faced these problems with the 9800 series and I am sure not going for the Z series or devices running the 10 OS.
