Please please never even think of buying or using this phone. Painful pathetic piece of Shiit.
Frustrated with random operations with touch screen. Keeps dialing out or doing some nonsense. No way to disable touch. Crashes very often, during calls. Simply doesn't reboot. You can try removing the battery and all the gimmicks. Can't imagine someone can have a OS in 2013 which is similar to what you experience with 1998 windows 3.1. This company should simply shutdown so that this cheating stops. I am a corporate user and have been using blackberry for past 10 years and shocked with this model. what crap. hope this review helps. Don't ever think of buying ot owning this buggy os and phone.

Pros:
Excellent battery life
Spacious keyboard, easy typing
Responsive touch
Firm build quality, nice rubber feeling all round
Very loud speaker compared to other Blackberries
Very little charging time needed
No lagging,
Cons:
Camera seems to freeze when pressing back button, although it doesn't happen all the time
Color of pictures taken at night or indoors could be better
Final verdict:
If you are someone that likes chatting and social media then the 9720 is for you. However if you prefer to have access to all kinds of apps and games then go for an Android phone.
Personally I don't have any issues with my 9720. I love it, coming from Android back to Blackberry:)

I have the bb9720 since November 2013 and since January 2014 I have had problems!!! First my phone kept on rebooting all the time and now 4 months later I found a solution... I put a piece of paper inside because I was told the battery is too small for the phone.. my phone did not reboot anymore but now it wont charge!! what now??

ever started using this phone from last year September, it reboots itself on every message and call i get, am even thinking of changing this to another manufacture like Samsung or Iphone. this phone is useless.. unless if you have anything to assist me with.. tomphony@gmail.com

Blackberry products were very good but not now compasre to the others like samsung, nokia and many more. manufacturer must seek feed back from users especially new generations and modify accordingly, other wise blackberry will disappear from the user's market soon.

I love my bb9720, the only problem i have is with java, cant dowload games, my videos are bad,other then that i am satisfied by my phone :)

Had this device for 4 months now , it freezes and reboots a lot which is quite frustrating if you going to have it as your one phone its better if you have back up of another phone, other than that it is a nice device....

blackberry 9720 good device if you dont want to spend alot of money on data ,but not good for facebook app suck bad lacks in downloading and why is there no goed app on your app world ,all in all if you want a phone for your kis this is the phone to get them.

I'm actually posting this from my 9720 , the phone is very good for me , my only problem is the facebook application is too bad . Maybe BB should think to upgrade it coz it sucks

I only have issues with d internal memory which is 512rom n ram.. One cant install apps on it like b5 n b6 dt has 8gb
