Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970it really depends on what your gonna be using it for. overall though, i think the bold is a better choice. it's OS is pretty simple, yet very detailed, the keyboard and display are RIM's best, exceptional battery life, loud and clear speakerphone (unlike the nokia's) and better reception if you are in california (i heard the e71's reception is really bad in california and if u hold it upside down, u get more bars of service)

i think gsmarena was really biased in the bold's review and that they favored nokia's e71 more. for example, they bash RIM for some of the bold's "text-only submenus", while nokia's icons look like they are from the 90's. don't get me wrong, i love both phones and would love to have both, but i think they were just being a little bias in their review

bold ma man, nokia e71 is a very nice phone, but blackberrys software and features are tried and tested, and with the blackberry app store out its a far better choice, thats why ive got one ;)

The best phone i've ever owned, I am such a proud owner, this phone is outstanding. Looks, feature wise etc. It is a little on the chunky side but that is not a problem with what it can do. The camera isn't as bad as the reviews claim it is, it is decent enough for the role of the phone (business/smartphone) - it has a great screen in terms of quality and sound and what not. I just love I can watch movies on it straight from my laptop or if I want the best quality I would convert it on PSP Video 9 Blackberry converter! I would most definetly recommend this bad boy!

You can still access the internet on the browser over Wifi, but without the BIS service on your account then you cant use instant email, Blackberry pin to pin IM and no app based internet services. Simple enough mate, with a Blackberry you need BIS, otherwise its no more than a pretty looking Nokia 3310 haha.

Very good business phone, good reception, good sound, handy in use, e-mail sync super.
But poor battery life, with intensive use last only one day! :-(
But all round very good phone.

gsmarena said that it could video call but practically it can't be although it supports 3g even 3.5g,,
