ok, so.....HELP. just got the phone a few days ago and it was encoded on Orange. I've decoded it and now i can't find "general options" and also it doesn't switch on and off when I remove it from the hoster. Can it be the new softwere installed at the decoding?

Definitely the best smartphone ever if we're talking business. The chat, the web, voice recording and the superb sound, the browsing is even faster bec of wifi and RIM has recently upgraded it.The problem is step by step being solved as you become used to it.This is my best pal for the meantime, can't live w/o it.

              Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970hi peter,
iphone is not a business phone, its more of a multimedia device where as blackberry is for business purpose mainly providing you access to the push email technology.

bocap, 10 Apr 2009what's the different beetwen QWERTY keyboard & QWERTZ keyboard? a QWERTY keyboard is the standard for keyboard for the English language, while a QWERTZ keyboard is the standard for the German language. the mayor difference is lying in the layout of the keyboard. note that the keys for the letter 'Y' and 'Z' have been swapped.

First off thank you mike for relpying i thought noone was watching! Now i was connected with the mobile network and my wi-fi at home and that was the only time i was using the web and still when i went to check my bill they told me i had GPRS charges. Now i tryied taking the tick off the mobile network and had the wi-fi turned on and yes i was connected to it coz in manage connection i had wi-fi ticked and right next to it its my wi-fi's name with green letters but like that i can't use the web(internet). What i have to do to fix it? Is it something with the settings? Please help me out mike i've had my bb bold for a week now n i didn't manage to sleep so far coz of this :)

P.S. In manage connections when mobile network is ticked next to it its the mobile network's name in green letters and next to that there is a green tick.
When my Wi-fi is ticked next to it its my wi-fi's name in green letters but next to it there is no green tick like in mobile network there's only a white -
Why is that? Is that a problem? Please help me :)

Anonymous, 07 Apr 2009Hey can you guys at phone scoop please do a review on the B... moreThey are pretty much identical in terms of software and functions. Both have superb screens, th curve has a slightly better camera but, for me, the bold wins because it has 3G connectivity, whereas the curve only has GPRS

GeeKay, 07 Apr 2009Is it possible to turn off the GPRS? I want to use the web ... moreYou can turn off the mobile network, but not GPRS/3G independently of the GSM. Bear in mind that that the phone will always look for the fastest connection, so if you are connected to wifi, it will use that, not the mobile network. otherwise, go to the menu, then "manage connections" and take the tick out of "mobile network", but you wont receive calls or texts. you could always put a data plan on your contract tho O_o
