Im between bold and htc diamond... Buying the bold means i should get the internet subscription from my provider, something that will raise my monthly payment .. so i am thinking of buying it without the subscription . Would the phone still be worth the money .. or is the internet thing essential to this phone?

i want to buy a new phone i like blackberry bold coz its classy but no 3g call , and i like htc hd, but sompeople its not handy,and here goes the iphone3g and yet its not that friendly user, and now the samsung omnia hd wow so cool but im really not sure if it has everything has to take.... pls email me for replies i really need help here email me at alfred_arong@yahoo.com thanks a lot

i have use this phone 2 days..
i'm lovin it muchh..
press left alt + left shift + h to show everything about ur phone.. like pin,, signal,, battery..

Im about to buy my frist blackberry which is the bold 9000. Can any1 tell me what i won't be able to use if i don't subscribe to the blackberry internet service?
And if im not a blackberry internet service subscriber
will i still be able to use the blackberry browser when im on wi-fi? If any1 can inform me please contact

thankz..Go to Manage Connections -> Mobile Network Options (press your track ball to enter sub menu)
Change Network Selection Mode to Manual (press your track ball for options)
Change Network Mode to 2G (press your track ball for options)

Can anyone advise if I can surf the net just by normal Starhub Gee Service like max mobile value or 3G without subscribing to blackberry service? If yes, how do i change the setting to try? No wish to subscribe to BB service.

i got this ohone today..
and i really love it..
but i have 1 problem with this phone..
i don't see Maps in my phone..
and my aunt has the same problem with her curve 8900 (Javelin)
Any resolution??

Never owned a Blackberry before. But since getting the BOLD a few weeks ago I am totally addicted. I have big hands and thought it would be difficult to use the QWERTY Keyboard seeing that the letters are soo close together. But i have had no problems. Its an excellent buy!!
