I notice a lot of posts stating the battery life of the Bold is not as good. I am in Australia, and over here, the Blackberry comes with a plan with unlimited blackberry data and email. So I don't use conventional data access. I switched my wifi off, and I find my Bold's battery life increase significantly, almost twice as much as if I was to have my wifi on. iphone's battery life is just as bad but I realize the culprit that drains the battery juice excessively is the wifi. IF possible, deactivate the wifi and use your phone data service, this will consume less battery juice.

I am using both the iphone and blackberry bold for a couple of months now, and both are fantastic device. However, the glittering fast and smooth touch screen feature of the iphone, I find myself using the Bold more as it is more of a practical phone for me. I am big on windows live and msn so Bold is the best mobile device for such services. ANYONE WANTS TO BUY A BLACKBERRY BOLD, I totally encourage you to GO FOR IT! Its fun, addictive and really practical. Really love it, BUT don't go for the other Blackberry devices, like the Storm, its crap. Quality is bad and touch screen is more like a scrub screen, so difficult to more around. But for the Blackberry Bold - GO FOR IT!

i went 2 buy the bold 2day finding only 1 problem... it was out of stock in 3 stores .. XD!

Dont buy Blackberry Storm.!!! its... moreHi, sorry to correct you but the Storm even with its initial software bugs...which have now been fixed with the latest software release...is brilliant...i was a very sceptical user of touchscreen phones but i have been using it now for a few weeks and its ace!!! plus uf you rotate it to lanscape it does have a Querty Keyboard!!!!

The best phone I've ever used. Loved the full qwerty keyboard. Once you upgrade OS, battery life gets better. However, still not as good as some of the other top phones.
Picture quality is amazing for 2.0 Camera. Probably because of the fast shutter speeds.
Call reception is amazing, I don't know if its att or the phone, but it got way better since I switched the both of them.
So many functions, great phone shortcuts. Highly recommended.

Can I use the Bold or any BB with Microsoft Exchange so I can retrieve my emails? I am asking this 'couse my company uses MfExchange on the server and not a BB server. Thank you. Rgds

Question for bold users????
I've never used blackberry before. After all great reviews & users' opinion, I'd like to give a try to Bold. I just have few questions regarding its blackberry BES OR BIS system.
If I use this phone without blackberry data plan, will i able to use internet, msn windows, yahoo mail etc with wifi??? Thanks

I am from Indonesia, using blackberry 8310 then change to Bold 9000. I found that Bold 9000 is fast on downloading data, crisp sceen, and sound. But unfortunately the battery drain very fast, i have to re-charge my blackberry 2x a day. Anyone have same experience?cheers.

If you own this phone, make sure you upgrade the OS to .190!!!
Significantly improved battery life, faster web-browsing, less memory leaks!! Just AWESOME!!!
