S-ONE, 17 Dec 2008This device has a wi-fi. Does this mean i can connnect thro... moreYes, this phone is compatible with most wireless routers. I've used mine on a few. However you may be required to upgrade your router firmware in the case of some routers, or some require you to have to enter a PIN that your phone will generate when setting up the connection, into your wireless access point for your router, I've had this issue at one bar I was at that has wireless, but I'm not sure how to rectify it. If anybody knows please give input.

well bold is amazing i got it for like 2 months now i canceled my data , so i could use it with wifi.
everything works i am able to browse thru wifi but can not use msn , yahoo , gtalk . lame.

            even google mail wants bbdata.
hope they make this also available to wifi soon.very secure phone , other bb apps should work on wifi only if encrypted wifi.

this phone is fun for work and play.

Im not sure why people are comparing the Bold to ANY Nokia phone. I've used just about every phone imaginable- nokia, htc, samsung, lg, and bb. This is by far the BEST PHONE i've EVER had.

The design is beautiful and sleek. The speed is phenomenal. The screen is BEYOND amazing quaity- the video pictures etc are are BEYOND phenomenal... the OS is great, typing is a pleasure... nothing about this phone is short of amazing. Dont complain about stupidness and make dumb comparisons. Blackberry has NO competitor.

Having used a Windows Mobile 6.0 HTC for the past two years, the Blackberry is by far a superior modern mobile business tool.

Identify and prioritise what your needs are before deciding upon your final selection of mobile.

Blackberry covers a wide spectrum ranging from digital camera to games, however the primary purpose of the Blackberry Bold 9000 is to facilitate persons on the move...I am an Audit Manager for a multinational South African company and the Blackberry Bold 9000 complements my professional career which includes extensive traveling.

For me one of the main features I appreciate most is being permanently connected to the internet for...
