ppl.... the battery life will be a problem, cause these phones are using a processor, how much battery life do you get when your laptop isn't plugged? the same applies to the bb, and other phones the has almost the same features... duuh

This is my 3rd Blackberry, having used the 8300 and the 8320.Nice phone. Downloads and picture quality much improved probably due to 3G. The fonts are to tiny and the Battery life sucks.

Looking forward to using the Storm only after an upgrade to include WI-Fi.

Performence is ok, but DISGUSTING BATTER, it doesn't really sucks, but KILLS, cannot rely on this handset completely, battery can ditch you any time. I have to keep home charger and car charger with me all the time. Battery doesn't last more than 1 hrs even after complete charge, and this issue is not only with me, but same with my other business colleagues

update the software on the bb then it will not hang, mine too was having the same problem but then an upgradation on the software did the trick. now its awesome :-)

it's not always about the number of pixels, but also about the sensors etc.
for example, curve has also a 2mp camera, but the pics a much worse.

This phone is really amazing, has every thing I need, i just wonder why an expensive phone has just a 2.0 mp camera, very poor!, 100% better than Bb 8320 curve

If you want to use an email address running on an Enterprise server, it gets a bit complicated, but nothing that a technologically-inclined person can't do.

I just love how it makes Yahoo and Gmail email PUSH, and if you have special domain names connected to Google, you also have PUSH on it!

                                    BlackBerry devices, and Non-BlackBerry devices.

Why? Only BlackBerry phones work on the BlackBerry infrastructure, PUSH service.

You can't have INTERNET and MMS on a BlackBerry without connecting to the Infrastructure.

You can, but why did you buy a BlackBerry in the first place? L0L

just tell your phone company that you want the sms and mms to work (i would assume yo uwould want text and pic msging if you have a camera on your phone and a full qwerty keyboard there!)

if they try to offer you the plans tell them flat out no and you'll switch to another phone company that'll let u use your phone w/o the plan.
(that usually gets them to fuss up and give it to you because it IS possible. they just want to make more money. then again, who doesn't?)

Rockstar, 16 Nov 2008OMG! I saw the Blackberry Bold on T.V. and I instintly fell... moreavailable by at&t but u can get it unlocked.
my father in law bought this phone last night and i like it
it has a very sleek design - the battery cover is leather (or so it looks. so i'll just say it is)
and the front is absolutely flat besides the trackball.
the buttons are flatter than the pearl/curve and i must say the design, in my opinion, is stunning. however, with all phones there are downsides.
this phone loads up like any other blackberry phone - SLOW AS HELL.
other than that i guess it's reliable but i don't know it's business reliable.
u can see websites in it's fullest (similiar to iphones)
but everything is so stinking tiny, even the zoom doesn't help. I could feel my prescription getting worse as i helped my father in law use his extremely over technical phone.

                                        if you are not phone-tech-savvy
don't get this. it has way too many options and it'll take you forever to adjust.
unless you want to spend your money on paying 400 something for a two year activation OR 550 at the AT&T store (or if u can find it cheaper on craigslist.com - though they're still pretty pricey) then go for it.
