Rockstar, 16 Nov 2008OMG! I saw the Blackberry Bold on T.V. and I instintly fell... moreavailable by at&t but u can get it unlocked.
my father in law bought this phone last night and i like it
it has a very sleek design - the battery cover is leather (or so it looks. so i'll just say it is)
and the front is absolutely flat besides the trackball.
the buttons are flatter than the pearl/curve and i must say the design, in my opinion, is stunning. however, with all phones there are downsides.
this phone loads up like any other blackberry phone - SLOW AS HELL.
other than that i guess it's reliable but i don't know it's business reliable.
u can see websites in it's fullest (similiar to iphones)
but everything is so stinking tiny, even the zoom doesn't help. I could feel my prescription getting worse as i helped my father in law use his extremely over technical phone.

if you are not phone-tech-savvy
don't get this. it has way too many options and it'll take you forever to adjust.
unless you want to spend your money on paying 400 something for a two year activation OR 550 at the AT&T store (or if u can find it cheaper on craigslist.com - though they're still pretty pricey) then go for it.

Honestly, in the corporate environment its the best device I've used hands down. It's fast and reliable, and the ability to push settings from BES reduces support costs by a huge margin.
Because you can channel internet traffic through BES you can download losts of stuff at a really low fixed 3G data rate.
Finally the screen quality really is quite amazing.

They have told me three times now that the problem has been escalated but no one ever calls with a resolution.. How useless is this phone if it wont sync with the BIS??

I really love the Bold! My brother bought the Iphone and the Bold definitely has a crisper picture, faster Internet, and longer battery life. The battery life on the Bold still is not that great. I have to charge it every day. I believe this is because of the 3G. I downloaded the OS software and now it is compatible with my Mac. I have not had any problems with iCal thus far.

Hi, I have a question to ask. I like BBbold. Can I use it in full 3g functions such as email, internet in a country that there is no BES or BIS?
                                        Thanks.
