wakeup, 19 Oct 2008I must stress to the sheep/posers getting into the BB fad (... moreeven though blackberries are smartphones they are not user friendly even though i like them. blackberry start putting cameras on them to keep up with competitors.also the biggest mistake people make is too get blackberry for attention.the best video or camera phone to get is a nokia phone any n series type with carl zeiss lens.

Patricio, 22 Oct 2008It is possible to buy the Bold 9000 without carrier/operato... moreyes buy it unlocked which means it will not have any gsm service provider settings also this is a quad band world phone running of 2g/3g networks which is 850,900,1800,1900,2100 which mean it is guaranteed to work in any country.

in my opinion...bb is still the king of all phones/smartphones/cellphones..whatever u want to call it....i have n958gb nam,nokia e90,1st gen iphone,sep990i,htc g1(i love this phone by the way)..all i can say is bb (i got the 8320 curve) still stands out..email (no one close to bb),txt messaging,instant messaging,resolutions...honestly i try to pick other phone,but i keep on coming back to my bb8320.....honest...

thinking of gettin bb can any1 give me an ideal opinion on pros & cons plz had n95 utter rubbish went through 3 handsets in 6 months and back to using sont ericsson in my opinon far the best brand of fone but had guys in from blackberry and of course they are gonna big this handset up! will this be a gud handset for me for web usage and overall usage?? smcd

The Bold is definately RIM's best effort to date. Been using mine for a week now and have not experienced the so called weak battery. It lasts for a full day and a half with heavy usage and the wi-fi on.This is about consistent with most smart phones in its class. Boy! the screen/display is awesome. way better than the i-phone's(i have used that too).
The only thing am scared of is that one day the pearl trackball would start misbehaving.I experienced that with my bb 8100 pearl after 3 months! It just stopped scrolling down! Any body had such an experience?
Any thing else i should watchout for? Thanks people.

Does windows recognize as storage device when pluged in usb without software instaled. Or do i need to install any software to access Bold's memory or memory card ?
i will appreciate memory access without need of instaling software.

btw I found out how to download windows live, but I cant sign in, it says servie not enabled for this handheld. but I can go browsing. someone please help. thanks

i just bought my BBB, it is so awesome! I love it! but cant seem to connect to my wireless. everytime I enter WEP key and then press next, it always fails to obtain my IP address...it's driving me crazy!!!! can someone please help? thanks!Ive tried doing it manually too.

all you need to do is to set the bb in recieve mode, example
1.go to your media folder select media type, then press the menu button select recieve using bluetooth.

I have same problem with my blackberry as well... moreWhen sending media files through bluetooth you need to recieve via bluetooth while in that folder. For example. Pair the devices. Then you will need to go into either photos ( if recieving a photo) or music ( if recieving music or ringtone etc.). hit the menu key and you will see the option to recieve via bluetooth. It will only work that way.

bwehg, 21 Oct 2008me and my wife wanted the blackberry bold,but she is with a... morethis is really helpful comments. i have t-mobile; love their service but annoyed w/ phone options. im considering getting this phone but i wasnt sure how it was going to work under t-mobile. i currently have myfaves, so u answered whether that feature would work on the phone too. thanks!
