it is strage about the headset, very difficult to fix it into your ear ! and also can not make vedio call because it does not have this feature although it is 3 g - but in general it is a very good devise and much advanced than the previous models.

Hi there, just received my BB - very happy so far. Pls help me with basics - 1. How do you mark/unmark items for multiple delete? 2. How do I transfer contacts from my memory card (not Sim) to the phone?

does anybody have their windows live hotmail and facebook going to their Bold? I find mine really lags alot.. Sometimes it comes instantly, sometimes 5-10 minutes later sometimes even up to an hour later. This is VERY annoying.. anybody else having this same problem or know how to solve it.. also has anybody upgraded their OS as yet? any improvements?

I have been using blackberry for the longest time, however I moved to a country, work reasons, that does not support blackberry service. I would like to purchase the Bold and check my email through Wifi. Is this possible without having the Blackberry service? I know that with my Curve, 8300, after unlocking it, I was not able to access the internet; even after input the correct setting. The only way for the internet to work, was to install Opera browser to access the internet but no email.
I love all the applications for the BB and I am thinking of buying any BB with Wifi, if I can access the internet/email though Wifi without having blackberry service agreement; Help please

me and my wife wanted the blackberry bold,but she is with at&t which is a 3g gsm service and i am with tmobile which is a 2g gsm service but we couldn't wait so with both bought unlocked blackberry bold from www.addictedtophones.com.They costed $769.99 a piece.the bold was suppose to come out with at&t service.I called tmobile and talk to a person in text support in about 10 minutes I had all my settings sent to my phone even web browser worked fine but except favs 5 dont work but that dont matter also hsdpa does not work but I can download ringtones from tzones also download music to a micro card to listen to the music player.My wife tried to have at&t send the settings to her phone it finally worked but we had to call back another day for some reason.what I dont understand is even though this phone is branded for at&t which is 3g and the phone is 3g. my phone with tmobile settings can work in some places hers dont.the only thing her phone can do faster is web browse.

hold the alt button and press the back button repeatedly until you can select the application that you desired

After pairing devices, you need to connect both devices by going to "Set Up Bluetooth" then select your devices then press the blackberry menu button and select "Connect"
Then go to "Media" then press the blackberry menu button and select "Receive Using Bluetooth"
Then go to your other devices and send the files
Your blackberry will then prompt whether you want to receive the file or not, select yes, and happy receiving!!!

I've read an article stating that Blackberry bold will be released in USA on 11/08 (ofcourse, you figure, christmas is just around the corner)for $300 (AT&T Subscriber). Not quite sure how true this is but it sounds like it's the right price. I've checked their prices in other sites and it looks like everyweek it drops prices.

I have same problem with my blackberry as well. I am conviced that any blackberry device has this problem, it says connection failed when you try to send pictures or songs. This is one of the issue that IT people from blackberry needs to look at. I've tried everything and it doesn't seem to work.

john, 19 Oct 2008I got the blackberry gold 3 weeks ago through vodafone and ... morehi john, have you called vodaphone and made sure your text message settings are set up correctly to your phone i have heard of this problem with some networks alot. if it isnt that then you should be under warrenty with blackberry or in your returns period with voda phone, if blackberry and vodaphone both fail to help i would give offcom a call to see what they recommend.

I am having the same problem with my Bold - I can pair devices fine. Sending pics from the Bold to other devices is working fine but "connection failed" when the Bold is trying to receive from other devices. Is this a handset fault?
