Guys, you have to constantly update your OS which is kind of annoying since you don't even get told where to go!
You have to do your own browsing on the net to find it! The memory leaks and minor problems just get to you at the end! Kind of disappointed with the BlackBerry Bold!
This is the first BlackBerry and not really satisfied!!

I love my Blackberry Bold. The audio and video quality is brilliant. Supporting both divx and xvid alike it is well worth the money. I got mine for free so I'm even more happy.

Cost per Email Is negligble. Because with a blackberry International email account you can send and receive emails anywhere in the world for no extra cost unless your provider tosses extra charges. The nokia has to use just the standard providers GPRS/3g data network so aside from your cost of data plan you might also incur additional charges if you use the data features out of the us. That can be upwards of $15 per Megabyte.

How would you compare the Bold versus the E71 for cost of emails etc as I have been told that some ways of receiving and sending emails can work ouk expensive?

This is by far one of the most exceptional devices to hit the telecommunications market this year. I really cant find any major flaws with this device. The first thing that caught my attention was is stand-outish leather backing in contrast to its high-gloss-black-finish. The phone fits wonderfully in the palm of your hands and the keys are just the right size to minimalise accedental key entries.
And lets not forget the features...business people and consumers alike will find that this phone caters not just for the top-end business market yet also offers practical applications for the everyday users market. This phone delivers just the right amount of functionality mixed together with practicallity. All-in-all a revolution of the QWERTY PDA. BlackBerry - an excellent job.

Gav., 19 Sep 2008I've had my bold for a couple of days now, it's my first Bl... moreHey man... I'm planning to get this phone, like you it would be my first blackberry too... i've played with a friends and I like it. Got no problem with the UI nor the style and size, actually it's smaller than it appears online.
The screen really is amazing, that's for sure and it's rather loud so that's great. However how long did you charge it initially?? as I want to make sure I get the battery into the best condition possible, I'll also like mine to last a few days between charges.
Anybody else please feel free to jump in with charging suggestions.
