The USD and EUR prices are nearly identical in terms of numbers. That translates to about 30% cheaper prices in the US.
Don't US consumers have money? Or don't they value this product? I'm a bit confused, can someone explain?...

Motorola told me that Motorola phones can’t open corrupted files so I assumed Motorola phones are safe from Email viruses. Is this same with Blackberrys?

I an leaning towards the BB but like a small child just got distracted by the shiny omnia. My only other question would be about the sat nav, ive never used it on my n95... Mainly cause the memory wasn't big enough on the original and i was too lazy to buy a mem card. Anyway ive heard that the omnia runs on tom tom and other things and that it doesnt cost much too use... As i say no idea about this stuff but which is better and is it expensive to use?

Anyone know how much this is on Vodafone Australia? GPS App on the phone? The "Vodafone Compass" GPS navigations system sucks for BB. often corrupts or sends me round 4 blocks to get down 50m the street - will they have a DECENT turn by turn navigation package?

Yes i have had my hands on the Blackberry Bold and it fits nicly into the hand. I think you will all find it alot thinner then it looks in the photos, I work for vodafone myself and have been holding out for a new smart photo, Form me it was between the Samsung i900 and the Bold. We got the i90o the other day and as good as it looks and its spec kida matches the bold. The Windows OS and slowed it rite down. Yes the i900 hass the 5mp camera but you can only open the cam aplications once everything else is shut down otherwise it does not have enought system memory. As always Windows Mobile's ways of making it hard to shut down aplications have spoilt i good looking high spec divice. The blackberry bold has the capabilitys to open and edit Microsoft Documents while running the BB OS that we all know it quick. BB virgins should not be put off by using a diffrant OS as this is fantasic and after a few days you will never go back. The Bold should be in Vodafone stores on 4th September and i will be at the frout of the pack. What ever network you chose this will surf the intenet at a fantasic speed but for the best results and price i highly recomend Vodafone VMI Tarifs with the BLackberry Activation. That is a personal opinon and nothing to do with the fact i work for them.

Should I choose Bold, HTC Diamond, Treo Pro(not offered in canada yet)?
I have seen HTC Diamond ,,,it is a beauty.
Bold is powerful, secure and great but I can not download or import/export some soft wares for ms outlook...fields applications etc...I hever used Blackberry yet.
I have no idea whether you could use Sage Act software with Bold.
I have no idea whether you could export Scotts Directories to Bold, Diamond or Treo Pro.
Does anyone has any idea what i am talking about and reccomend anything.

SH, 26 Aug 2008I have the Bold from rogers yesterday. I love it very much,... morehi sh, all sounds good but i wondered as your are a fan of the BB can yot tell me why you'd go for it over the samsung omnia? Sorry torn between the two both and not getting any sense out of the omnia forum

I have the Bold from rogers yesterday. I love it very much, the email is fast the Browser is fast and I can watch youtube with this. It is the best BB I had used sofar, the speed is faster then any phone in the market. Can't wait for the BB touch screen to come>

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970it will be available after it passes the testing.a senior manager told me that the phone failed the testing and they are trying to sort something out so it should be ready by the end of september latest.price for upgrade is £240 so whatever discount they gave you make sure you get £240 so you dnt have to pay anything.already sorted mine out, they said they will call me when they got it.
