im definately getting this. got the 8300 curve at the moment. the bold is already out on orange and i think also vodafone. im on o2 waiting for their best deals on it.

i dont know if any one has seen the youtube videos of this phone but they seem to always compare it to the iphone 3g. i can honestly say in my opinion that the only thing that really lets blackberry down is their basic web browser. but you can install opera mini on it which does the job. to hell with iphone and nokia e-series. blackbery is the way forward!

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2008Do anyone know if you could use this phone together with Mi... moreYou don't need BES to use a BB with Exchange. There's tons of options; a) activate the POP connector on the Ex. server so your phone can pull messages using POP; b) Set up the BB with its own blackberry address (johndoe@rogers.blackberry.net) and then just set exchange to forward a copy of the users messages to that address (usually what I do); or c) Set up mail forwarding via. the blackberry desktop software. The only thing is that without BES, there's no real synchronization taking place (the BB simple holds a 'copy' of your messages). You either have to sync manually with the PC or use BES if you want to have the device fully sync'd with your exchange account.

Max, 26 Aug 2008I got a major problem. and I NEED YOUR HELP Shoul... morethis was a hard choice for me too.
                      2 reasons I chose Diamond...
                      1. I managed to get BB connect working on it, so, I have the best of both worlds. BlackBerry and WindowsLive.
                      2. While there are no language packs available for 9000(yet) it is easy to configure Diamond, and get what ever language you want.

I also tweeked the touchscreen keyboard so it is quite easy to type with my thumbs.
but for those who cant tweek, and don't want to risk, I'll recomend the Bold 9000.

bo-faisal, 28 Aug 2008Guys i just need an answer for my easy question , Does it h... moreThe was it works is, RIM brings out updates with language packs. and you choose the language pack when you download this update.
(which can be found in RIM's web)
for now, there's no updates available for the 9000, so there is no Arabic.
you can check for updates yourself, just go to downloads, then updates. and look for the multilanguage pack.
PS:sorry for my spelling, English isn't my first language.

According to user polls this goes head to head with Nokia E71. Reviews are inclined towards E71 for it's sleeker and mail sync is packed for Exchange too. I tend to give %1 credit more to E71, but still waiting to read more opinions online.
