The Bold is now available from UK Orange stores and is on the website. However if you want to upgrade your phone with them to this its still a week or two away according to the people at orange :(

      The web browser is awesome.

As the new display is hi resolution (close to that of a good TV set), it deals extremely with anti aliased text of different sizes.

Fully zoomable, just like opera. HSDPA means that it's speedy.

I have one of these devices and have had it for a week, testing and demonstrating to the customers for the Number 1 australian network TELSTRA the fastest Mobile network in australai at 7.2Mbps and very soon to be 20Mbps+, Convergence is here with this device, it runs like a dream, the wifi connects without any effort, the connection to the mobile HSDPA network is like ligtning, the keyboard is a plaesure to use. the screen quality is phenomenal. There is alittle stumble with the optimise media streaming which i have been promised will be sorted by the end of September.
There is no other business device to compete with this.

How good is the 624Mz processor!

Its in Australia next week, Optus has it first for $89/month which gets you unlimited data plus $300 worth of calls & text, on a 24 month contract.

                          Will be my first Crackberry........woohoo!

Finally the Bold is here! It will have to be Optus then.

BTW, anybody who pays more for something, if they dont have to, cause money is not an issue is a goose - Trump101.

As for pricing, there's no comparison, Telstra really take their customers for a ride.

Finally someone agrees that Telstra 'smashes' Optus in coverage even though on paper the latter is only 1% less in coverage area. The strength of penetration in Telstra is unmathced!

So you Optus-fanboys/fangirls just shut up! Telstra IS better than Optus in coverage and reception. Pricing is totally a different category and matter, which does not concern me!

just a note on optus vs telstra 3G network. i have used both and i have been all over nsw. i have tested both networks and telstra smashes optus. as far hspa goes with optus the serves kept on droping and ping ponging between hspda (u900), and wcdma (u2100) although the aim is to cover 99% with optus, the coverage will still be very broken(going from sydney to the newcastle it will constantly drop to gprs). were as with tesltra the coverage was unmatched. however i agree with the previous comment. telstra and pricing is wrong. tesltra is purley geared for profits. one short course i did with telstra was labled with dollar signs. and it was all on getting people on plans get the phone cheap and make the most profit of people. i hope they change that but unlikley. optus price is much better. so coverage is tesltra hands down. pricing telstra fall very short. so your paying for quality of service.
