I don't understand this new love affair for anything 'touchscreen'. Some people like real keys and don't to clean a fingerprint magnet everyday. Touchscreen could be found in horse racing tracks since the 1980's. Thank you Apple for letting the world catch up.

Just had this at our conference yesterday, it is by far and away the best phone i've ever tried. The UI is absolutely fantastic in terms of speed, looks and features. The phone itself looks amazing. The keyboard feels precise and unbreakable.

Stop compering this phone with any other phone. BlackBerry is BlackBerry, is well superior to all other phones outh there, they all should face it.Lets all use BlackBerry. Haw about that. This is the best phone you can ever cam across to.I'll get a BB 9000 when it comes out. Cornel

This phone looks pretty good, tempting. The small monitor is it's downfall.

Agreed 100%, this phone is not a copy of the iPhone, or the Palm Treo, BB don't copy they LEAD! BB's were made as a PDA! They are great for email & net access, about time they made a 3G one. You can't compare this to the iPhone when they are made for different audiences. iPhone is an entertainment phone this is a buisness phone. Compare it to another PDA but not the iPhone ffs

This is nothing like the iPhone, for people who are trying to compare it. I still cannot believe that people are still trying to compare the iPhone to the Blackberrys. They are no where near similar. If you just use a phone for a phone and a MP3 player, the iPhone is perfect for you. If you are looking for connectivity then Blackberrys are perfect. So please stop bashing the Blackberrys because your iPhone is supposidly better. For the record my iPhone is collecting dust, it has been replaced by a Blackberry Curve, and I am very excited for the new 9000 to come out. Beautiful phone.

RIM definately went after a different market with the Pearl and the Curve, and it was well received. I am not a business exec, I am a wife & mom, with a ton of stuff to do on a daily basis, and my BB is a great tool. I went from a Pearl to the Curve and loved it even more!!! It helps me organize my life, keep up with my emails, make & receive the calls I need, and capture a "Kodak Moment" if I want to with a great camera. My husband carries an iPhone, that I do NOT envy him for. The browser is great, but I find everything else inferior to the Curve. Texting is a pain, especially if you have medium to long nails. The camera has no flash. I cant share anything with him via bluetooth, his personal email is off limits (hotmail), and dont even get me started on ringtones. These of course may seem trivial to most, but like I said we aren't executives and with 3 kids, we love living a colorful & musical life. The Blackberry Bold will definately be my upgrade. My husband may even ditch his iPhone for this one =D

The idea that this is a iphone is just stupid with blackberry's email push and other features not to mention the faster transfer rate and the fact you dont have to piss around with a touch screen make it so much better!

Wow, I used to hate BB's too, but this phone has definitely changed my opinion. The nice looking UI and exterior really hits the spot.

I own an iphone.. but it still lacks of many things i'll like that my phone have. For example, flash-video/images compatibility, unable to share files via bluetooth with other cell phones.
Sincerely, i'll give it a try to the Bold, it looks stylish, has good features and 3G (sorry iphone..)
