Best of the worst. The best thing about the phone is the trackball. I have tried others with the IR pad and would rather gouge my eyes out with a spoon than use it. All in all, the BB as a phone is 5 years behind in hardware and OS. There are still no apps compared with iPhone or Android. Buy something else.

I have been using phones of all varieties and now bought a Bold 9000 BB and its awesome to have so much of connectivity over mails and chats to keep you in touch with friends/relatives, good battery back up comes for 2 days on my 100-150 calls per day along with the BB options. Easy to use key pad but little bulky still visible for compliments from others....if you want to go with BB try this one.

miss to handle this bb type so much. Even now already used Torch, 9000 still the best keyboard bb ever, In my Opinion. the Keyboard is very gentle when we touch it. The Screen little bit large for keboard bb. Easy to use and very handy in our hand. Love to use it as a diary, touch button by button is amazing.

I just sold my second hand Bold 9000 for $40 more than I bought it for. Only had it for 16 days, but I must say this a solid old school BlackBerry if all you care about is messaging. Has excellent speakers for music. I love the multi-colored LED notifications and the keyboard is great. This phone made me into a BlackBerry convert and now I want the 9900! The guy who bought it from me already owned the same model and just wanted a newer one. That's how much he loves this specific model. I told him BlackBerry is the Cadillac of cell phones. This is where the old school money is at. If you don't need touchscreen and 500K apps, this is the classic BlackBerry phone to get. Still looks sexy after three years and still gets the job done for core functioning like email and text messaging.

hi guyz have been using bb 9000 for 2month nw.. its a gud fone with exseption of its battri life. i have some question any one help plz.
1. Hw can i copy several contacts from a fone to a sim card?
2. Can i update the software/system
3. Can i use internet without a blackber internet services?

@ Jacky to send data to other phone go to connection settings bluetooth select add a device after adding device make sure they are on pairing mode. If its music select send via blue tooth or receive via bluetooth.

Three years later, and still the best-looking BB that RIM ever made. I have an iPhone 4 and my Bold still looks great in comparison. Wide, but still sexy as hell considering it is from 2008! Faux-leather back which is easy to grip, take off, and prevents greasy fingerprints. Shiny bezel around it. The 9900 is its true successor and is slimmer, but you can make a case the 9000 has a better back and shinier bezel. Would love to see RIM create a QNX phone with the Bold 9000/9900 form factor. The 9000 & 9900 still have the best physical keyboard for a BlackBerry.

faiez, 24 Aug 2011best bb ph evr!!I have just bought Bold 9000 for five days and it is worth money! It is a real and nice smartphone! However, due to its security, you can not send any contacts, media file ... via bluetooth connection where the SE X1 works very well.
