I use bb bold9000 for firest time and can't use gps and don't know how it work for frist time , may any one help me and tell me how can I make it work

Then, download the OS version you want. the forums should give you a comparison and let you know which is the most stable version.
Install the OS onto your Windows PC and when it's finnished, look for and delete "Vendor.XML".
From that same folder, open Loader.EXE and plug in your phone. It should detect the update and begin installing it.
Do a backup of your info using Desktop Manager before doing anything else just incase something goes wrong.

ther is a new BB Bold coming out the BBBold 9900 it just looks as similar like the BBBold 9000 but with 512MB ram and with OS version 6...do any one know how to update my BBBold 9000 to Version 5

Dewan, 20 Jul 2010Hi Does it sync with iTunes?Yes. When you installed Desktop Manager, it should have also installed Roxio Media Manager and Media Sync, if not, you can download it off the internet. Open Desktop Manager, plug in your phone, run Media Sync and select iTunes as your default library. It can also detect Windows Media Player. Now all you have to do is select the playlists you want and it will add the songs onto your memory card.

The newer phones are getting 512mb of memory just to be able to run BB6 at full speed. The 9700 has twice the memory that the 9000 has and RIM are making a newer 9700 (9700a or 9780) with 512mb just for BB6. The Bold 9000 will definitely not be getting BlackBerry 6.

the nokia n900 is on it's way out.
pro for blackberry : you could update the os for the blackberry to the new 6.0 os that's going to be released very soon.
con for nokia n900: it's on it's way out to make room for the nokia n8 & the new meego os based smartphonees that's going to be released in the q4 of this year.
