If I bring an unlocked Blackberry 9700 in the UK, how will I go about with a mobile phone plan? I'll be staying in the UK for more than year and my main concern is the BIS and if i'll be able to access the email on my BB. Can I just go to any UK telecom providers and avail of their plans? I believe they dont have pay as you go options for blackberries.

I am asking about the new update for the 9700 which caused this sms thread and where it gathers all sms under one name. Can someone help me on this bug

pinak, 30 Apr 2010can anybody tell me what time does bold 9700 take to start ... moreit depends on the applications installed in your phone, the more applications installed, the more time takes.
It is always better to add/remove applications through ur desk manager...( use it always to fully delete/install app.)

The Battery is EXCELLENT, lasting with me for 3 & 1/2 days.
make sure the following are off:
1)- bluetooth
2)- wi-fi
3)- background applications.
about my self, i use the browser mainly for downloading new applications & not browsing a lot...:)
so i save battery, cos i make calls a lot...:)

hi,
Every time i tried to send a new msg for a new recepient , my phone send it automatically to the first recepient of the first msg received or sent and i can't change this receipient.

I think, the Bold 9650 will be for some carriers cos our carrier not supports the CMDA Networking.
