I just got my 9700 Bold. But struggle a bit with the software that I installed on the pc.
1. I'm not sure if I maybe do something wrong but I just can't load anything(music, photos, data) from my pc onto the phone.
2. And also can't view the photos that's on the phone when connected to the PC.
3. Another thing I can't figure out is how can I edit my contacts via the computer or even copy over all my contacts from my Nokia 6230 to my Blackberry.
4. Is there maybe a later revision of the software which might be more user friendly?

had this phone for 4 months.. It's awesome on battery life.. Better than my previous BlackBerry Bold 9000.

best phone love the battery life even using wifi it takes me 4 days without charging a must have for bb afficionados

How can I change my SMS view. Everytime I receive an SMS, it shows only the first sender's name, which was my service provider. Now whoever sends me an SMS it just shows the same name. What I do is go into folders and select SMS Folder, then it shows each individual sender and their messages. How can i change the SMS setting to permanently show me the SMS folder by default.

I have had this phone for over a month now. Its a very nice phone, its fast, easy to use and it's fairly stylish with the leather back. I have no complaints

If you are, like me, satisfied with your Berry experience and aren't too eager for super powerful web browsing, or great 3D games, then go for the newer Blackberry phones out there. RIM is working on the newest OS called Blackberry 6. It offers a few upgrades to the current OS and adds more eye candy, as that is what everyone complains about. I don't need to play Grand Theft Auto on my phone, so I am happy with my messaging device. I use it for chatting, surfing light websites, and emails. But, if you are one of the ones that wants a new, shiny interface with tons of apps, I'd go with Android. It just seems so much nicer the iPhone's OS. And it has a ton of choices, currently the favorite being the HTC Droid Incredible which is CDMA. Just weight out the pros and cons of any device that interests you and go for the one that suits you the best.

Am shortly due an upgrade after 16 months of Bold 9000 which has been fantastic apart from recently the sound has virtually gone, it least it still vibrates. Is it just a natural progression to move onto the 9700 or nowadays with all these new futuristic phones coming out which seem to have everything on apart from Messenger, are they the way forward ?

2)- pull out battery. ( wait for 10 Sec.)
3)- insert the memory card.
4)- put back the battery.

I've been using bold 9700 for over 3 months now, amazing phone, very looooong battery life, good camera and the operating system is very fast no complaints. Buy it now. I'm waiting for bold 3 now its bold 2 but with touch screen.
