any can help me...:(

I have the blackberry service subscription from my server and the BIS logo already there next to the 3G, BUT the big problems is, it is not using the BIS service, what i noticed is i was using from my GPRS plan which cost me like hell....

and when i went to :Managing connection>service status> my BIS connection was: not connected!!!! very strange,,,,

So How can i have the service without using it!!!!!
is there any settings i missed in my Bold 9700?

          i have used this phone for a month and have faces many problems so far. The OS Version 5.0.0.442 has too many major issues. Today my phone just stopped working without the handsfree and i had to get ir replaced with a new set. Anyone else facing problems with this phone?

                    does anyone know how to change skins? i have bn told you can have current/next appointment showing on home screen much like on a palm treo. i have searched blackberry website and some apps but had no luck. please help!

                          no skype app or available for you and download via wifi. this is crazy and primitive. what the hell are rim and skype people thinking. otherwise a good phone but lacks some basic things like skype.

                              Guys, one quick question...BB only allows you to install apps and themes on the internal 256 MB memory right? Has anyone ever run out of memory? What do you guys do then? And what's the average size of an app?

                                There is no separate config for MMS aside from having a BIS activated.

                                BIS = MMS, Internet Connectivity, Push, Social Networking and Chatting.

                                  JRF, 31 Mar 2010Its like this: BIS= BBM, internet, chat, push email, socia... morei thought of that..to just call att and ask if my existing unmilited data and text plan is compatible with the bb 9700. if it is, ill sign up for another tw0 year contract (im out of contract right now). if not, ill buy the e72.

                                  i guess att implemented a new data and text policy back in sept 09.

                                    No BIS= internet (maybe, ask ATT if current data plan is compatible).

                                    Texting works no matter which plan you have. MMS should work also.

                                        Just wanted to add to my previous comment: BBM and other chat apps, Facebook and Myspace, and push email won't work without BIS. These need the BIS to be activated since all data goes through RIMs servers. Apps like UberTwitter, Opera, Bolt and a few others, will work over wifi if not compatible with the data plan.
                                        Hope it works out for ya!
