if u intend to serve internet often, of course the 9700 wld be better as it has a much faster processor and blackberry comes with data plan for ur usage.
It would be biased for me as im a bold 9700 user, but having used nokia E51 and switching to a bb there after, im really a fan of blackberry now and prolly for a long time to come.

9000 hangs very often, and my 9700 runs smoothly and up till now, its still working smoothly. SWEET phone

Hey, i had the 3GS 16Gb iPhone for a time. I can tell you buddy. Iphones are great, great microprocessor, great RAM and touch screen as well. but if you are looking ofr a super (i considered my words) SUPER fast smartphone, with hugely great battery lasting, great RAM as well as 3GS and great 624 Mhz processor, BUY Bold 9700. It is true though that some apps are still paid, not so many FREE apps as for iphones. TRUE. But you get what you want. Great 3G navigation, fast Internet, great wifi, etc. Great 3,2 Mpixel photo/video camera and so forth.
If its worth for something, just pass this info!

Hey guys, i have been using the Bold 2 since the release and have no other comment than "AWESOMEEEEEEEE¨ I am sorry for those having troubles with it. I am right now spending some time in Cuba and it is incredibly true, my battery last for 12 days. YES, you read right, 12 days. Of course is a 2G. But i have been playing videos and listening to music all the time.
I tried to let the phone be for a week or so and only spent half of the battery power. Isn't it awesome?? Enjoy folks.

Davy, 25 Feb 2010Bit disappointed in the bb bold 2, i had a 8520, and now i ... moreif u always mumbling about expensive or what,y not u just use other smartphones or basic phone..nokia n SE both hv cheap models..y not u grab that as u said u just use for a basic things..hahahaha..BB is about prestigious dude..of coz,its expensive than others..no matter what model it is..to get the best thing u need to pay more..to get a better apps u also need to pay in order to get the full advantages of that thing..this is simple business dude..i think u just buy a nokia..its so easy even 4 years old kid also know how to use it..damn!

Guys stop asking if bb9700 is better than bb9000. Of course it is, its the best blackberry so far, I've had 9000 and now got the 9700 so I'm talking from hands on experience, enough said!!
