ok ok, got it.. I'm feeling low now. As I've said, I really wanted it, just that we don't have this BIS plan yet in our region (and oh, I'm not a caveman or some sort). Maybe I'll wait for a while until BIS becomes available. This will be on top of my list then. Thanks for all the effort of commenting guys (special tnx suotdai). I'm eternally grateful to all!!!

steve , 02 Jan 2010i have been using bb9700 for about 2 months now and it does... morei also admit that BB bold 9700 is the best smartphone as I have ever had. and Battery life is one of the great thing that RIMM added in 9700. Thanks a lot RIMM.

undecided, 01 Jan 2010same! i also contemplating bout iPhone or blackberry. still... morei have been using bb9700 for about 2 months now and it does all i need it to do. my son has an iphone 3gs, which i admit is pretty impressive BUT the battery life is garbage and sometimes will not even see him through the day. trust me, if you need a reliable phone without too many gimmicks go for the 9700.

.. if you get the phone , things to know and understand 1. YOUTUBE anything you need to know about a phone , and they will have hands on to what it can and can not do ! 2. blackberry is meant as a business phone , NOT a pleasure phone , if you have the phone , you have to better have a DATA PLAN or else NO EMAIL , BBM , or whatsoever the case 3. if you think a iphone , or blackberry , 2 different styles and types of ppl. the iphone is a hackable& jailbroken phone if you want a ton of apps or whatever , but besides all in all , its trying to be everything in one but TAKE CAUTION of the battery life as it is STILL A PHONE ! the blackberry does everything that you could on your computer but in the palm of your hands , it interlaces everything from facebook to all your messengers (msn,yahoo..) to stocks portfolios to anything you can access on line . editing documents in xls word or powerpoint .. i think you are getting my point , but if all in all , you just need a phone to show off an iphone . but if you need something that is of everyday use , blackberry . the blackberry doesn't have to show off such a cool, uber awesome mindblowing interface, because it is made for ppl that use of everyday use in their everyday life. if you had the template, just make one if you're not too lazy, blackberry lets you customize every part of that so you can quit complaining how boring it is. it is the ultimate tool that you can put in your hand, and if its not appreciated, you will eventually appreciate its worth when you later regret not getting it. if any questions or need any info, just msg on here and if i see it, i'll answer it

Ok thanks for the reply, sorry if I'm bugging a lot here. But anyway, before I make my decision of not buying it (I'm really saddened actually)let me just make it simple, (a YES from anyone will do) Without BIS service, you CANNOT BY ALL MEANS USE IT FOR E-MAIL, SURFING, IMs via edge, gprs or 3G connection and the phone will only be good for call and sms? Please anyone, I need a straight answer. Thanks again..

This is the first time I've ever used or owed a Blackberry and I can definately say that I made the correct choice. If you don't want a touch screen phone, but require all the features and apps within a compact handset. Then you can't go wrong with the 9700 Bold.

i love it, its alot quicker in general than other BB's and surfing the net is super fast. using the touch pad is so much better than the ball on other BB's. cant go wrong with this :D best ever

using Bold 9700 for last 1 week. nice smartphone, only i feel the weight is bit more for me. this is a very good website. getting all the product info from all companies.
