only thing that is missing in the nokia is BBM. i have been a nokia user for 11 years now.

E72 sells here in Oman at 170rials and BB 9700 sells for 300rials what a price difference. But BB is useless without the data plan. Im a prepaid subscriber so im leaning to the E72...why Blackberry sells unlocked units if they only cater for data plans?

I Thought the 9700 has 256RAM, but why did GSMARENA says it has 128RAM? is the info wrong? or is it really 128 RAM?

Nokia waited WAY too long to del... moreno dude...ur wrong. all ur getting wit the BB bold 9700 is the brand name.the cam....sucks!! the battery...needs charging EVERY NIGHT!!! doesnt hav a secondary cam. (no skype calls) come dude...admit it....its like buyin an iphone...ur jus payin for the brand name.

Nokia waited WAY too long to deliver the E72 - people that bought it are selling it less than 10days on the grey market (buy&sell). The BB9700 has 6 HSPA bands yes 6! Also its more stable OS that keeps getting updated & frequently throughout the year and more - up until 6mths ago RIM still supported the 4yr old 8700 model. You will NOT find that from Nokia!! BTW, the Nokia E72 has D-Pad with optical sensor in the middle.

Just got this phone a few days ago and it is awesome! I have been stuck with a Nokia E71 for the past six months and this Blackberry blows it away. Got it from these guys who did a sterling job www.corporate-mobiles.com.

For the life of me, I can't understand how folks can even compare the 9700 with any Nokia. The key question are these: what phone delivers email best? What phone is the best communication device?
No phone does push email like BlackBerry. At best the Nokia pulls email every few minutes. The iPhone on the other hand pushes its MobileMe service and Exchange, but pulls everything else.
I think it is clear that the age of Nokia is coming to an end. Now if Nokia can create their own push servers like RIM then maybe they'd have a chance. Until then the BlackBerry as an email/communication device beats Nokia hands down.

Yo buddys just got the bb bold 9700 about a week agao and loving it to the core... but the interesting part is that got the e72 just a day before the bold but tell u what blackberry is awsome i gave my e 72 in one and half day to my wife...... nokia beware bb is getting to you ......

nokia fan......e72 is wayyyyy better than any BB. jus compare the reviews. the only thing BB 9700 beats E72 with is its nav. pad.
