Hi, I just want to express some opinions about blackberry device and the the company which makes blackberry.
I've use lot of kind of cellphones, Sony, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, LG, Iphone, Blackberry...etc. so I have lot of experiences of the user interface. so according to my experiances, the blackberry device is the worst i ever seen and used. I, actually, want to see RIM go backcrupt in a few years or ASAP. thanks.

This is going to be a great phone. I love BlackBerry with all my heart. The only reason that I can think of that people will use any other phone than a BlackBerry is because they have never used a BlackBerry before. To compare the Nokia E71 to any BlackBerry is like saying a fake Picasso is better than a real Picasso.
BlackBerry rules because it is awesome. The only thing that BlackBerry lacks is a FM radio, but other than that it is perfecto.

The pixel resolution has almost no bearing on the quality of the images/videos.
As long as it's over 65k, the resolution will only be as good as the images you load onto it.
Wait around for Sony Ericsson 2010 - I have a source which informs me they will be bringing out a plasma screen capable of playing Blu-Ray.

This phone looks and sounds awesome. The other thing which is bothering me a little is the weight....i.e. 122g. What do you guys say?

just got news from one of Indonesian distributors for BB, a friend of mine told me that the device will be sold in Indonesia starting on November 20th for a price of 650 US$ unlocked.... any other price info from other countries for the unlocked version?

looks like for rogers customers its going to be $299 on a 3 year plan with min $45MSF which sucks hardcore because people in down south (USA) are getting it for $199 on only a 2 year contract. Just shows you how much us canadians are getting ripped off with our wireless devices

GSMARENA says display is 2.6, but when checked at BB US site (yes 9700 posted just 4 hours back) they mention it as 2.44,same like 8900. so i guess its 2.44 correctly not 2.6. same gsmarena did for 8520...whats wrong guys?

However be careful when using 3 and roaming onto telstra as it will cost ur right arm!
