A rock solid Blackberry. I have this Blackberry for well over 4 and half years, 5 years on next February. The keyboard is great and battery life from the original still last very long.
I was given much newer Blackberry 9900 recently and having used it for about a month now, I returned to 9700 because I found 9900 a very fiddly phone, with its too-soft keyboard, flicky touchscreen, camera very poor for any close-up objects and shorter battery life.
At the end of day, older 9700 is still a superior Blackberry. It may be basic in comparison with newer Blackberry but it does its job with ease without any hesitation. It is still ticking away just like an old antique watch.
