I switched back from android after all times it would crash and lock up, and thats with not hacking it or anything. I have had no problems with this phone. And with the 6.0 OS upgrade its even better. I also matched it with a otter box defendor series.

I'm using this phone right now and I can't connect to the internet using my wifi connection. The phone was able to detect my router, I tried setting up wifi connection but can't connect to the internet. Any special instructions needed?
Is there anyone who's experiencing the same thing?

I think that you should make a NON- threaded SMS box like the Curve. i dont like that the texting is threaded, so with an upgrade you should change that, you would get a lot of hits! thanks!

Hi,
I am using Blackberry Bold 9700. It is running on old operating system OS 5.0
I want to download OS 6. Can anyone help me with step by step procedure how do it.
If you search on the google there r so many links which shows leaked OS 6 but now few Mobil Service Providers have also release officially. Like Vodafone Essar in India they have released it officially.
I have tried couple of times downloading that OS 6 but it actually downloads Blackberry Desktop Software not the OS 6.
Appreciate it if someone can help with this.

The 9700 is my first blackberry and after only 3 months i was greatly diasppointed as the lcd screen has gone bad. To replace the screen alone is costing me nearly 1/3's the cost of the phone. I was informed that I may have squeezed the phone causing the it to go bad, but honsetly if it got any squeeze at all this phone really can't take any type of jamming. The phone works well and all that, but 3 months and problems already, I would say this phone is a no no

hav ben usin bb9700 for a month now.switches off on its own & turns on after a while, or not. tried changing batry but of no use cant use the phone at all.nicephone though?????? any solutions pls?

I've bought a new 9700 after using E71 for around 3 years. Also I was paralelly confused b/w buying a Android / BB phone. But as luck would have favoured me Bold9700 is the BEST phone available in market. Specially for a professional person like me. It has so many detailed options that makes you crazy. Other than profession, it also bears lot of multimedia fun. Battery back-up is decent of around 1.5 days. Voice clarity is amazing. Professioanal and personal mail usage alongwith social network sites is awesome. Mail sync is blink away. BB messanger is another magic. Over all a best gadget. All prospective byuers, don't even think twice - grab it. You'll love your decision.
Afterall nothing PERFECT exist out in the world.

am so dissapointed in blackberry bold, my phone is not even 4 months but its freezing, it just switches off by its self and turn on by itself, i wuldnt advise any1 2 buy blackberry bold... ya it has the look n stuff but???????
