Hi there
Is there any real difference between 9780 and 9700???Does the issue of double the memory capacity from 250mb from the 9700 to 512mb to the 9780 does it really makes the mobile phone faster i.e. np lagging or freezing????and also have heard 2 or 3 cases about the trackpad not operating properly are these cases isolated or is it a bug itself with the mobilephone?Looking forward to hear from you guys thanks in advance.

I've been using android based phones for the last few years, and i finally decided to switch to this bb. I'm quite disappointed with the app world-is there any websites for free app downloads? And how do I free up my flash and ram memory-my phones always lagging! Other then these couple issues its a great phone.

my bb is always left with about 40 to 45% at the end of the day. is it like this? or is it my batt is really running out fast? anyways to save the batt life? my friend told me hers could go on for at least 2 days.
i usually drain my batt on purpose cos i know that 40% wouldnt last me the next day at all.

Hi i've face one problem with my texts. like for example a text comes in, when i open it, its not the new texts my friend send me, is somewhere like probably the first text i send out today. its from the same sender. i have to exit and go back into the text again then i can see the new text, or else i'll have to keep scrolling down. anyone faces this problem too? any way to solve this?

Bobby, 22 Nov 2010Should I change from my iPhone 3Gs to this Blackberry? Is i... moreWell, I already did that and I think it's worth it... I can use the bluetooth to transfer data... I can download 3rd party sofware
So many things are there, things that I don't get in my iPhone
For me, blackberry has more advantage than iPhone, changing it is a fresh change
The only problem is, after using my iPhone, automatically our fingers are weaken due to the great touchscreen that doesn't need too much pressure my hands are sore to push the actuall keys eventhough the keyboard are really soft...
Hope it helps!

I have been using Blackberry and the Blackberry OS for 4 years now. Blackberry is awesome to use for businesses.
The 9780 is well equiped for conference calls, sending emails and general day-to-day usage. I highly recommend it!

Have this for a week now. So far there is no problem whatsoever... ♥ it! I have the white T-mobile one and it's really nice
The first day I bought it, the trackpad was very hard to press. But it loosened up a few days later, but why am I experiencing double click? But other than that, this phone is Okay...

Hi everyone,
i just acquired the 9780 from my spanish operator Vodafone. Everything looks good except for when i download windows live messenger...once installed , it doesnt launch, the phone freezes in that application and am forced to turn the handset off.
Have spoken to my carrier but they say their not responsible for any "external applications". they directed me to blackberry.,their website on support..nothing...no phone , no human response, no solution.
One can call the head office for customer support but the voice recorder operator says textually.." for customer support, please have your credit card at hand".....
So should i say, this sucks! or simply that it's pathetic!!

does anyone else find that when u do a video recording with the 9780, the screen gets lines i n it after watching the video back? I've changed my handset 5 times now and it STILL has this problem....the 9700 never did this, which leaves me wondering 'is'nt this meant to be an upgraded version?'
