I m using This phone since its in market phone is good in chat,messaging(what's app and other messangers because keypad is along with touch screen) its easy than android to understand this phone. We can watch HD videos( which are HD On PC too). Camera is So good With super flash light(we can use flash light as torch with an app named super torch). Minus points of this phone are for downloading extra apps we need wifi network or BBM net pack through which we can use BlackBerry World. This phone do not supports Games like Temple Run, Subway Surf, Angry Birds etc. Only small level games can b played. Most Negative thing is Battery When we use apps it works for nearly 4 hours(talk time is nearly 5 hours).

This is an amazing mobile device I have ever used.it performs perfectly when usin vodacom as my ISP always 3G.I like it

Try upgrading you're phone to 7.1 OS, its unique because you have a new network option that actualy switches you're phone automatically to 3G when there is coverage for 3G, with BB OS 6 if you chose just 3G you're phone is constantly looking for 3G signal (thus the overheating) I self have a BB9790 for 8months now and only had probs until I upgraded to OS 7.1

The 9790 is an amazing phone BUT the battery does not last - comes off charge 7am - by 10 it is battery 25% and i need to charge or no phone at lunch - And no phone calls have been made! Charge - lunch 1 - 2 and charge again by 3 or it dies on the way home - at 7ish in evening have to charge again.. overnight if not on charge i wake up and its dead! Have to charge overnight! And no its not settings - I had a Curve with all the same and it lasted a day and a half WITH all my work emails coming thru - i have taken them off my BOLD.. And its my 3rd one in 6 months...1st one died between 2am and 6am (from fully charged) brand new - they replaced.... 2ND ONE - fried - the board blew and this is my 3rd one! TAKE THIS RUBBISH off the market! My Son's GirlFriend has one too - same old!! When i go out where i don't have power (wall plug to charge phone) on weekend (even shopping) have to take Curve with and before lunch swop sim into curve from bold so at least i can get call if needed!! The phone was not donated to me - I paid for this piece of rubbish!! So sick of this!

jb, 26 Aug 2013This phone is good but it hangs lots of the time and overhe... moreif you put the network @3G and you keep pressing then it warm but talking of hanging, i think the phone you need to check your engineer on that.

Terrible phone. After 2 weeks, battery life didn't last more than 6 hours when texting only, wifi turned off, and only on 3g network. after 6 months, phone reboots randomly and takes hours to boot. It even crashes when it's rebooting. Now after 1 and a half years, my phone just shut off and won't turn on anymore. Terrible, do notbuy this phone.
