Best browser it works via youtube desktop view so no streeming charges at all been on youtube all month all for free I love this phones

So I bought this Bold 9790, 3 days ago, and I thought I'd write this review
Actually, it's a great phone, fast processor, fast browser and fast 3G
My previous phone was Curve 8520, so the upgrade with the 9790 from OS5 to OS7 is significant, the software is different and much more interactive
The touch screen is very sensitive and responsive, I thought it wasn't going to be that good..
The phone is tiny with a sleek & shiny design.. I love it! Typing is very comfortable, due to the angled keyboard..
However, there is one problem with Bold 9790.. THE BATTERY! I have to charge it twice a day, with normal usage.. You charge it the whole night, after removing it and leaving it for one hour on the standby mode, you lose around 15% of the battery! I heard that upgrading to OS7.1 will solve the problem, but I'm not sure yet..
All in all, I don't regret buying it at all.. It's a great phone and I'm really happy with it.

BB is messing up,they re just reproducing same phone all over... all of them doin the same thing.
just different speed...

harsha, 01 May 2012Is thr any prob regarding the fone keeps on hanging and ol...??I am abt to purchase it cuz I got ma mind made up. With wat I'm gathering, that stuff can download fast which is wat I really need. Abt it freezing @ times, that happens to a lot of BB phone I have seen. Just hold down ur alt key n then press L, G and the L, G again. A bunch of logs will pour out. If u can keep on clearing those logs @ intervals, your phone will be fine

Dear do not go for blackberry 9790 bcoz i dont think that it will give u amusement or any moment of joy. These fones are less priority now these days becoz of limited apps and network gprs. I have used it and it didn't have good battery timing as well. I think u should go for htc,galaxy or Nseries by nokia.

i am about to buy a blackberry bold 9790 would anyone recemend this to me ? i am confused about it heating up and has it changed your mind of the phone with all its apps ??????

i currently have BB9360...its battery life realy sucks!!i thinking of downgrading my phone unit,coz lower units have longer battery life...but i stil want to use OS7,does this phone has better battery life than my 9360??im considering to buy this unit..

I don't get why you guys would buy an eye phone a blackberry phone has a great trade mark because of its free internet I am taking me this phone because of the magnificent download speed because I have a 8520 and it sucks like hell on downloading speed reaching a maximum of 25kb/s that is extremely slow but the price of the 9790 is such a rip off lol I only download naruto off fztvseries so that's all I will be using the phone for....nothing else and I'm mosly at home so I'll charge and watch naruto hope it doesn't over heat(y):):)

Battery life is good,,I guess some bb phones like the one made in taiwan is mostly deffective,,just buy bb in authorized suppliers,,there are lot of fakes out there

im about to experiance the blackberry bold 9790 , im so excited and cant wait to explore this new device , ive always been a huge bb fan , with all the fun things and facebook and bbm thats there , im pretty excited and will be giving u guys up dates on hows things going with the device , have a wonderful day and enjoy peeps ;-)

I just the BB made in Taiwan and I thought there is nothing wrong with it such as over heated.. It just move smoothly and comfortable
