A SOS sign appeared at the top right of my phone and because of that I can't send out any messages. What should I do?

Got this handset on Saturday, wasnt so sure about it after reading the comments below, but alot of my friends have it and swear by it, and the girl in the store recommended it. Which is why i have taken the time to write this comment now, the handset does everything it says on the spec it will do. I much prefer this handset to the standard android but thats just my opinion as is everyone elses comments below.

Anonymous, 17 Feb 2012my blackberry bold 9790 back panel is loose...is that a com... moreI had the same problem with a loose back panel on my 9790. I put some strips of sticky note paper on the insside of the back cover. That is one side of the note paper is sticky so th other side isnt sticky and i put 3 thin strips one onbtop of the other so the non sticky side would touch the battery. it worked perfectly and the cover is now very tight and no more slipping. Try it and i promise U will be very happy.

My battery drains overnight. I don't know what's wrong with it. I only got this phone a week ago,

Have been using the bold 9790 for more than 2 weeks now.
Pros:
Sleek, looks great, touchscreen is good, camera is the best a blackberry has produced till date, fast, ur not gonna encounter the dreaded clock we are used to seeing on the older BBs...browser is excellent, screen is sharp, no problem looking at it outdoors, keypad is obviously great.
Cons:
THE BATTERY, i understand all os7 bb phones have poor batteries, out of which this one is supposed to be the best, my 8520 used to last 1.5 days of heavy usage, the same kind of usage leads the battery of the 9790 to run out in 8 hrs (in 2g).
Lack of apps, BB as it is wasnt known for the number of apps, but most apps that i tried to download were not compatible in this device..RIM do something..
Touchscreen on a screen of this size doesnt make much sense, seems more like a gimmick, the phone would have done fine without it..build quality could have been better, the audio tends to echo.
Overall:
I would still buy it, but only just, wish the battery would last a bit longer..those who have the 9780 and planning to go for the 9790...DONT.

i am having problems with the BB services. I just bought the handset and i inserted my sim. and i can see the bb service logo. i even went on registering the handset with round host table but still it aint picking :(
