owsom devise to have, expierenced it for 15 days, nice phone,os 7 is good, provides you some extra feature, as far audio output quality is concerned, that really gr8,(ear piece,handset volume), needs to work on headset volume,baterry back up is of 5 hours(normal conditions 1 day).

All in all a really good phone. its fast, no lag like in the other older phones. Its everything that a Bold 4 is with additions like auto focus in the camera. It does have a fall back where the battery is concerned but the standby life is quite amazing. The touch screen may be a little small to use especially if you have huge fingers. Screen size is that of 9780. The slim design is what give the phone its great looks. The back cover is disappointing with a rubber like texture. But you can't complain as it comes with NFC technology.

Apart from the Blackberry Bold 9900 the last 5 new blackberry feel like a toy. the build quality is appalling

Got mine first time in the world, but it get so hot when browsing, then i swapped mine with a new one, and it still very hot (when browsing, just hope my 9790 did not explode like some cases of Iphone...
Is it always like this?
been charging like 2-3 times a day, specially when browsing (the battery drain so fast)
Is any of this normal?
Can any body help, i've swapped mine and still have the same problem...

9790 is java enabled just like the bold 9700. Opera browser software works perfectly with this phone just like all phones with BB os7. GSM arena should have updated data to correct this error by now. Battery wise not as good as old Bold 9700, but much better than 9900. I use two batteries to cope until RIM bother to produce software up date to correct this et al. Very fast and responsive. But a tiny bit feminine looking. Over all not bad phone.

the battary life on the 9790 i cant fault it even gsm arena say its quite good you sure you dont have a copy , i had 9900 worst phone i have ever had and battary life on that was shocking , plus phone to big and dopey , this 9790 i cant fault it never dropped a call yet i also get 4 to 5 hours call time a day on it , and im glad the charging slot is back on the bottom and not on the side of the phone , mine is made in taiwan battary in china im glad phone was not made in china as i would not have bought it ,

i bought my bb 9790 3 weeks ago ang im using it until now but i am going to back to my torch 9800 because the 9790 battery sucks. it will only take 12hrs life.even if i bought and installed the booster, its still the same..if you wanna buy a bb device better get the old models b/c the new os7 models arre coming with a low battery life capacity. so disappointing.

i am confused between 9780 and 9790. can anyone give me a good description on the system and soft wares?
