I read d review bt am confused about one thing there, frm d review, it was said BB 9790 is Document edittor, bt wen u click BB 9790 frm dat same gsmarena and go down tru d specs, it is written document Viewer. So which one is correct bcos I want my BB to be a document edittor. Pls clearify me if u can. Thanks

Anonymous, 27 Jan 2012Is the sound (Ringing) is loudly or not please answer this ... moreboth are good. if your hands are big then you can go for 9900. typing with 9900 is best in respect to all qwerty smartphone. if your hands are smaller like me, then go for 9790. plus battery life of 9790 is better than 9900. you can comare the spec using gsmarena. this is very good point to point compare. all thanks goes to the web designer of gsm arena.

bb guys, have you gone through the review of 9790? but i think bold9790 is the best os7 device up to now. compact and solid. i don't like to change mydevice every 6 months. after using bold 9700 for 2 years, i think this the best bb for me. only the battery life is bit less than my old 9700. but still last one and half days. camera is excellent, no drop call up to now in last one month. accidently droped my device twice, but still just perfect. i would say good engineering for designing such a good device. bold 9790 is the best bb.

Been using this BB for a month and it's one of the greatest phone i ever had
i used curve 8520 before and i also use an LG optimus 2x as my secondary phone
my upgrade from the 8520 proved to be worthy since the 9790 has a longer battery life and it's keyboard is pretty good,i used to cut my finger when i'm typing with 8520 but never with 9790!
i have also tried the 9900,9780,9860 and 9810 but i think the 9790 is the best combination
not as big as 9900(but i admit typing in 9900 is more pleasant),not as thick and heavy as 9810 & 9860. don't forget the longer battery life and NFC(9810&9860 lacks NFC)
overall my summary is:
(+)compact design
(+)longer battery life than most OS7 device(mine could last for at least 15 hours,my record is 27 hours)
(+)good price point than other OS7
(+)better keypad than the 9780(except the Q,P,A,del which need an adaptation)
(+)autofocus camera
(-)i don't like the backdoor, it's ugly(at least for me)
(-)no words about OS 7.1 yet
(-)the new menu,back,call button is rather fragile i think, i dunno if this will last long enough

cool and sexy shape of Bold 9790. i like the hand on feeling, light and better battery life than my Torch 9800. this is my fist bold. i used to have curve 8310, 8900, curve 8520 and then 9800 .... i will be staying with BB Bold from now on ..

the best blackberry i ever had. been to BB curve 8520, then to BB curve 9630, and then BB torch 9800. But just today i went to get BB bold 9790. so far, it's the best.

mine says its made in taiwan battery in china glad this phone was not made in china or mexico , bought it from expansys uk really like this phone ,

yaa .. good device, faster browser, good camera and BBM is best. decent battery life, with modarate use it lasted 2 days. i love the shape and size of bold 9790

BB rocks ... even with dual CEO or Single CEO or even none ... im BB fan, as i dont like to stand whole night to buy iphone .. Bold BBs are good. I would say 9790 is best up to now. i did buy one last month, and 2 of my fiends upgrade their phone phone from Curve 9300 .. both of them happy with 9790. my cousin bought one yesterday. we are BB family .. BBM is our main platform for contacting ..

I Think this product was great, i bought it about 2 weeks ago and i didn't have the problem you guys said..
i think the battery was normal, the performance was even better than the old type and OS 7.0 was great in handling all tasks....

you say battery life is no good , well i dont agree with you i have bought 2 of these 9790 handsets simm free ,as i upgraded last september to 9900 bold and that handsett was the worst one i have ever owned it dropped calls , only lasted 5 hours , to big ang ugly i hated it , every now and then someone keeps coming in this forum saying battery life is horrible , i dont believe they even have one , i think they are slagging it off just so people dont buy it ,so i ignored what they where saying and bought the 9790 best phone ive had since i had my nokia 6230 i , the battery lasts ages i got 3 hours talk time out of it today and there is still 20 percent battery left i cannot fault this phone its the right size so sleek i love it , and the touch screen works fine i use both touch screen and qwerty im glad i have a choice when using it , phones now have gone massive , but this is so right for me size is perfect and light , and fits in my pocket i really cant fault this phone at all i can go out with battery at 50 percent and will last me all day , if blackberry had not brought this phone out i would have left blackberry and bought something else , glad i bought it and did not listen to those who where saying its crap as i dont believe they have one , so gsm arena if you have tried this handsett and if you have you must know the battery on this phone lasts ages , it does not hang so when you find this out and you see people say the battery is no good you must know they are pulling it down as they dont own one surly you should barr these people as they are lieing , as for me this phone is so sleek nice to hold and lasts me all day and fits in my pocket , the person who thought to make the 9790 give him a pay rise and the person who thought of the 9900 give him the sack that was a ugley phone to wide ,

I don't like it. It's a bad phone. Camerc sucks, proccessor sucks too. Browser is... well... don't make me go there.

god knows how many phones will be in market this year. getting bored. however my new bold 9790 is best combination for me. slim, powerful, bright display. BB 7 works great with BBM, APPs and e-mail.
