tushar, 17 Dec 2011hey guys....m plannig to change ma bb....m currently using ... moreu have to charge daily. just 8-10 hrs battery backup if u use ur bb normal. so keep in mind besides of small screen its consume more energy.

All the apps i mentioned and yu said yu hav them, is it in dis bold 9790 or other models of blackberry? Bcos most others have java support while dis particular one doesn't have. So?

its a sexy n sleek phone. .but the battery is same shitty as all os 7 phones.. the full charge doesnt last for more than 15-16 hrs.. i charge twice a day... but otherwise damn good phone

ani, 17 Dec 2011I love the blackberry only for its keyboard/typing satisfac... morePlease do some research it helps a lot, for voice turn by turn Nav, you have lifeinpocket, bb traffic, waze (though not too cool) etc, and about mobile hotspot, its already avaliable in the recent os7 update, you should visit crackberry quite often. And Angry Birds??? Please that's not an issue, get serious

I used BB 9700 for 2 years, i have to nokia and samsung.
I think the big difference between BB and other phone only on email app. BB always realtime recieved email, other phones must be actived before and not realtime recieved email like short msg.

my unit has black front with dark gray battery cover. i find the keys of the 9790 more comfortable to use though. i like the slim factor like the 9360 but that makes the screen smaller than the 9900 (win some, lose some)

Ov, 16 Dec 2011You have just shown us how ignorant and clueless you are, t... moreI love the blackberry only for its keyboard/typing satisfaction, I used to use a BB9000 (trackball) for over a year supplied through my employer...was addicted to reading my email and the other useful feature was of course the calendar.
However in reply to your question about what a BB cannot do today is, generate a mobile Wifi Hotspot to use with a tablet (tether is too combersome), cannot do Angry Birds :-), cannot do turn by turn navigation like Navfree (not available for BB) but however since Im in love with 9790...Im hoping one day these features will be available to use.

In the mobile Music Play time upto 33 Hours. but other mobiles music play time is too low.Its the best advantage of this mobile.

BB 9790 have Full Qwert Keypad. so,easy for typing messages,etc. its business type phone.

Further to know what android or Iphone has to offer you must visit their app store and you will realise what's missing in BB. I am not promoting any company or neither wish to degrade any. But truth is truth. I myself use BB 9780, BB 9900, Nokia C 7 and Samsung Galaxy W. so I am very much aware what I am talking about. I do travel lot around Asia so very much aware about social habits among advanced Asian nations and Asian living in under developed nations. If any further queries don't hesitate to post. Please I'll like to know what android and ios can do that a blackberry cannot and please try to be mature and don't say things like android has faster processor, brighter screen, smooth os, etc. I'm yet to find out what my blackberry can't do that your toys can do!!!
