To cirez , you like android but your in blackberry forum lol , you want 1 really , and you like big screen soooooo what I don't I have 9900 and that phone is getting sold as soon as the 9790 comes out as 9900 is to big and heavy , its like going back to the 80s lol so if you like big screens I don't my eyes are ok to look at. A small scree lol I doooooont want to carry a brick about that's why this phone is for me , and you like apts so what I don't need them and don't want all those , my kids do , so how old are you lol , so seeing as I earnt my money and will spend it how I like , go 9790 my money is waiting for you , go blackberry if I want a big screen I will just go on my labtop lol . And gsm arena surely you can ban this person from all your forums , like I said big is dumb small phones are to take out and put in your pocket lol ban him I will pay ou as he is in blackberry forum but likes android how strange lol he wants 1 does he want me to buy him 1 lol

Hello Indonesia, had a great shopping today? Plese let us know how do you find the device. When compared to 9780 its for sure 9790 has a blazing speedy processor, 50% more memory and a touch screen too. But when it comes to built quality does this phone feel sturdy and smooth? It is definitely a nightmare for 9900 users as they paid USD 150 more and got much less features ( only a higher processor which is useless anyway ). Common let us know about 9790. Cheers...

9790 launch, 25 Nov 2011I just saw the launch (and discount promo) for the 9790 in ... moreyes that's the lack of a product which was first launched in indosesia,,, lots of free java apps, but not for the Indonesian people, therefore the specifications on the Bold 9790 is reduced, so that they download paid applications. and it is a sales strategy

Not worth at all queing to get this mobile phone, 1 GHZ with only 768 RAM? compared to others brand RIM still need to develop their OS and hardware to become more "smart" phone

I just saw the launch (and discount promo) for the 9790 in Pacific Place mall In jakarta... It was crazy!!! people has been lining up since morning... they say for first 1000 buyer they give 50% discount.
I was having lunch there when i say the commotion... been reading the spec...RAM and Processor are good.. but why no Java????

one person one phone for each buyer and payed by credit card only. 5000 queuer and it sold out 2 hours ago. the normal price is 4,6million Indonesian Rupiah for launch date(25nov) it was discounted to 50% which is 2,3million IDR equivalent to 289 USD

RIM is smart to have scheduled its first launch in Indonesia. Its their largest market and Indonesians pay much higher than rest of the world to get any Blackberry model in this country. When rest of the world is migrating towards Android and Iphone, Indonesia is still thriving on Blackberry. Blackberry has became a part of Indonesia's social life which cant be given away at any cost. With a launch of 9790 and 9380 on 25th November with a price tag of about USD 555 for 9790 RIM will march with flying colours as Indonesians will be queing up to get their favourite Blackberries. Whereas the rest of the world will lay their hands on 9790 in 1st week of December at a lower price of about USD 500.
