It makes more sense if the battery will be improved because BB classic is for people who often make calls, emails, instant message, and browse webs.

Or at least the phones should come in two different flavours, BIS and normal data and they should watch out which one will sell faster. They 4get to know dat we live in a world were data plans are crazily costly dan BIS plans. Pls BB take note if u need more sales from the everyday average man. Thank You Mr CEO BB.

While agreeing that Sony did a commendable job on Z3, it still has got it's own limitations. True QWERTY lovers has little use of a full touch. But yeah, let us hope BlackBerry may come up with a higher 'spec'ed, lighter and tougher QWERTY and full touch phones.
Personally I would love a water-resistant Classic with a better camera.

It's small, not thick, its battery is smaller than other Android phonss, has 2.5Ghz quad core processor, HD screen, but its battery life is excellent. It scores above 100h endurance, and has 15h browsing time, unlike others that have bigger battery but perform bad on battery life. If an Android powered phone can do that, so does Blackberry. The magic that Sony put on th Z3 is more possible on BB. They can alsp improve a Blackberry phone without adding bulk on the device.

There are some drawbacks in Q10 - the biggest one is you can't see the whole message while composing it. I hope they solved this with Classic. iPhone 6 is too thin. You can hardly pick it up from the table and it can easily slip from hands... Both phones work briliantly I can wait untill 6s...

But I think the biggest limiting factor of any phone is the compromise between battery and size. With current available battery technology ( whatever it is, I am not a hardware expert ) If they add bigger battery, size,weight and price of the phone goes up and people complain. The phone got a better display or a higher CPU / GPU etc added, battery life goes down and people complain.
It is the other way as well , as lower 'specs', everyone cry for the blood of the company.
Probably it is high time BlackBerry come up with a very powerful magic wand.

PPP, 22 Dec 2014despite that fact that 'classic' is realeased after almost ... moreIt is never meant to be an upgrade for Q10, except slightly bigger screen and tool belt for those who absolutely require one. It is actually targeted as an upgrade option for aging Curve and Bold series.
In that aspect....
- Classic has got a bigger capacity battery. Batteries are heavy.(WOW!)
- It is better than 9900 (WOW!)
- It is way better than 9900 (WOW!)
- It is way better than 9900 (WOW!)
So, there is no point for a Q10 user to upgrade to a Classic.

why they dont use 1080 x 1920 pixels or 720 x 1280 pixels
Phonoe will be bigger so more extras can be, maybe bigger battery with more mAh, better camera...
