I just hope its battery will be as good as Z3C and other phablets. If they can make a BB phone with over 120h endurance rating or maybe 20h browsing time, more people will consider switching to BB regardless of chipsets/RAM/camera/OS, because battery life is one serious thing about mobile phones.

People should realize that it's not right to compare this phone to high-end Android phones we have today. This BB Classic is not a gaming device and not for serious amateur photography. You know Blackberry became popular because of their own unique identity in mobile phone industry.

despite that fact that 'classic' is realeased after almost two years of Q10 launch - it is still worse or same in many ways:
- classis is heavier than Q10 (WTF!)
- classic has less pixes density than Q10 (WTF!)
- they both have same engine (CPU, RAM, etc)....!!
- same camera!!!
.....
why shall i upgrade my q10 ti classic, if 10.3 will come out for Q10?!?!

this phone is good looking but the problem is not all android apps will work because of its weird screen aspect ratio. The price is also too high.I love BB but this phone cannot not save the company. Just lower the price and it will be near perfect.

This is the best thing black berry have ever done.
They must satisfy all their loyal customers. Now they must just make the 9900 again called classic- Build it the same on the outside. Just replace with the latest engine sand software.

This phone is so gorgeous. I want to buy this but blackberry store and service centers are very rare to find in the philippines. Local carriers here did offer blackberrys but i don't want to commit for a 2 year contract.

Thanks for your valuable inputs. Actually my whole idea behind it was to make a choice between Apple or BB as I'm BB user from quite 3-4yrs and now its a matter of Android time all around so just wanted to make a move to it. Please advise, if there are any trouble using android apps on BB phones.

Any idea about message editing space in this.? Presently I am using bbQ10 ,in that I can't have a full view of message ,what I have written. The track ball then the exit button really missed in BBQ10'. Hope these things will be rectified in classic

My personal thoughts about BB and Apple:
Apple (3gs, 4, 4s, 5s): elegant, flashy, reliable, good ecosystem, simple to use, batteries not removable, no memory cards, stable OS, small screen
BB (9700, 9780, 9900, q10): dynamic, good looking, good communication tool, some signal issues, removable and good batteries, no ecosystem, memory cards, OS (q10) need some minor improvements, square screen
Facit: I was (and still am) very sattisfied with both brands. As I need two phones I will keep both brands. Question is which one to upgrade first? 5s to 6 or q10 to Classic?
